I know this is only semi-related to Nicole Richie, but her ex-fiance “DJ AM” Adam Goldstein was in a fatal plane crash with Travis Barker, formerly of Blink-182 in South Carolina. Both DJ AM and Travis are in critical condition and four members of their party died as a result of the crash.
“Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein are in critical but stable condition,” Beth Frits, spokesperson for the Joseph M. Still Burn Center where the two were taken, said. “Goldstein was airlifted here and Barker was brought by ground transportation. So they arrived separately. They have extensive burns.”
Those who died were the pilot, Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, Travis’s personal assistant Chris Baker, and Charles Still.

My heart goes out to those the families of those whose lives were taken far too early and let’s hope for a speedy recovery for Adam and Travis.
