Do You Care About Jessica Langseth’s DUI?

I know some sites like TMZ have made some interesting comments about the fact that American Idol season 8 Top 36 contestant, Jessica Langseth, got a DUI a few years ago.  She pled guilty and was sentenced to four days in jail and two years of probation (this ended earlier than expected and she completed her probation this past December). 

So, do we need to know this?  I guess I understand that once you are in the public eye, this sort of stuff comes out but the girl pled guilty to the crime and successfully completed her punishment.  What can you really say about that?  Not much. 

I have to admit that she hasn’t really jumped out at me as a major contender for the finals but she’s got a good voice.

What do you think?  Should people with criminal pasts like DUIs be excluded?
