Last week, Adam Lambert revealed his new single “For Your Entertainment” from his upcoming album of the same title and I have listened to it several times over the weekend and I seriously cannot decide if I like it or not. On the one hand, it’s got a decent beat but then the actual melody isn’t working for me.
I love Adam and I think that “Time For Miracles” from the 2012 soundtrack is great but I’m just not sure about this single.

I can see how if Time for Miracles is more your speed For Your Entertainment wouldn’t necessarily be your cup of tea. I guess Adam is smart to include TFM on his album as a bonus track because people like my mom and other fans of a certain age love that sort of thing. Me, being in my 20’s, I want music I can dance to and For Your Entertainment DELIVERS. It is so fun, great workout music by the way too! I am AMPED for Adam’s album now. I hate the show American Idol because I think it’s corny and boring ie: Kris Allen and David Cook but I’m glad it allowed the world to be introduced to Adam Lambert because he is gonna be a star!

I like both TFM and FYE. TFM was really old rock ballads where his voice is the only thing that matter. While FYE is really more current and popular. I think it is hot and has potential of a hit. It is also the music that will reach non-american idol audience. I would still buy his single and album coz i think Adam is really really good singer/performer. Hope you can support him as well. Album drops on November 23.
I love it more and more each time I listen. I love his phrasing and the lyrics. It’s fun. Looking forward to more rock sounding stuff which Adam has promised is on his cd. So if you don’t like this I’m sure he’ll have something else you’ll like when his cd drops 11/23.

Like Dorena, I love it more and more each time I hear it. At first listen I wasn’t too sure, but I’m seriously hooked now and can’t wait to hear what else Adam has in store for us!
It’s sexy and fun and catchy just like Adam said it would be. I love it. Very addicting.
I was really hoping for more of a rock and roll sound… can’t wait to hear more of the album

I liked it the first time, but like Dorena, the more I play it the more I love it. I find it very catchy and the way he sings it is really him. I often hit “repeat” when it comes up on my iPod.
Listening to the lyrics, I couldn’t help but imagine the reaction of the label execs back in the day that thought it was really risque when the Stones sang the line, “Let’s Spend the Night Together”. Between Adam’s lyrics in this and Britney’s new threesome single, those people would have a coronary!
Makes me wonder what the video will be like though!

I LOVE IT! And having listened to the 30 sec. snipps from the FYE album on youtube I love all the songs … I never heard an album like that before … something for everyone. I’m sure you’ll agree when you hear it. For now I have bought TFM & FYE from Amazon so I’ll have to be satisfied until the album drops on Nov. 23rd.
I dearly love the song and am waiting for my 3 cd’s that I ordered from Amazon….He is a fab entertainer and loved his time for Miracles, also…I also liked the AMA awards song…….and he was great….it was the music that was bad. Lots of artists sounded bad….because of it.
