Men, they’re fickle minded, impulsive and just exasperating at times. But we still love them. And we sure love Bo Buchanan (Robert S. Woods, One Life To Live), don’t we? But we’re not the only one who does. Nora Buchana loves Bo as well. So what’s the problem? Well, Nora Buchanan is now married to the other Buchanan, named Clint.
Sooo, it’s Soaps, they could travel to Dominican Republic on their way to to Llanview from London to get a quickie divorce, right? If only it was that easy. Don’t forget, Clint and Bo are brothers…
Even though technically, Nora’s true love is really Bo Buchanan, the situation today, compare to when they were married is different now. A lot of things happened from the time they decided to get a divorce. A few years ago, even though Bo could somehow find the courage to stay in the same room with Nora, he hasn’t completely forgiven her. The whole Sam Rappaport situation was too deep for Bo. If you remember, everyone thought Sam was Matthew’s father.
It was interesting how Bo Buchanan could forgive Lindsey Rappaport whom by the way was the main evil person in this whole scenario, Bo couldn’t offer the same thing for Nora. I guess in a way it’s understandable because Nora meant more to Bo than Lindsey ever could so Bo expected more of Nora. Still though, Nora took it to heart that Bo may never forget and put it behind him.
Well, Matthew’s condition changed all that. Bo had finally realized his deep love for Nora. He did even before Nora said ‘I Do” to Clint. I mean they even kissed which Matthew witnessed on Clint and Nora’s wedding day. BUT, Nora went through the wedding. Now Nora and Bo are in London, professing their love for each other. Mostly Bo. It must be the Eiffel Tower effect. So what are they going to do now?
Should Nora divorce Clint and go back to Bo? Would Bo really hurt his big brother? Can Nora live with the fact that she’s jumping from Buchanan to another? I mean sure the gap between Bo and Clint were a few years, but this time, it’s only months and they just got married. Nora Buchanan is going to look like a heartless floozy if she followed her heart. Darn!

I’ve always wanted Bo & Nora back together. I never gave up on it happening. And now the ball is rolling. They love each other. Bo forgives her. He’s calling her “Red” again. It’s wonderful! I never like Nora with Clint. They are as boring as watching grass grow. But I don’t want her divorcing Clint and returning to Bo right away. It has to be dragged out. There needs to be some good, soapy drama. Their love should be secretive for a bit, and maybe when Clint finds out it’s at a big event. Or it comes out in a big way. As long as there’s juicy plot/story, I can wait a little longer for Bo & Nora to be together again.

I don’t think you should have allowed the wedding to take place if you were going to break Nora and Clint up so soon. I don’t think it is sending the right message to our youth about the institution of “Holy” matrimony. I also think it’s a disgrace for Nora and Bo to be carrying on like this at their age. Can’t you think of something better to write about.
