I’m sure the interview circuit can get a little boring, but seriously, does America Ferrara have to look this annoyed with Blake Lively and Gossip Girl? Blake and America were on a publicity junket for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and were interviewed about their TV shows. Clearly, America isn’t so much a Gossip Girl fan…
To be clear, I love Ugly Betty. I think it’s a funny, well-written show. But, like Gossip Girl, it’s hardly rooted in reality and is clearly over the top. One would think that America could manage to look somewhat interested – or at least not bored and patronizing – for this 30 second clip:

Let me guess, she probably doesn’t own a tv and thinks people should be doing better things than watching tv. Oh…wait…then we couldn’t watch ugly betty.
America should suck it up and stop pretending that she is in a world and life-changing documentary instead of a telenovella – which, interestingly enough, is kinda what GG is too.
a little but i dont think she was acting that way on purpose! it just looks like she is bored.
i saw this and really felt a need to dislike america. i mean, blake was asked about the show, and perhaps maybe many of the interviewers have asked about GG, but if there were a question about ugly betty i’m sure she would’ve answered it and wouldn’t want anyone to look bored or annoyed while she was answering the question. she made herself look like a total snob.
i’m gonna have to say im with America on this one. i’m a huge fan of Gossip Girl, but this is to promote the movie!
I don’t think she knew the camera was on her, since usually, when they single out on person in interview, they zoom in on that person.

I really dont think she meant to look like that, i mean the interview was about the MOVIE not about gossip girl or ugly betty whatsoever, so i think her rolling her eyes its just because she must be sick of being called to give an interview about “sisterhood of the blah blah…” and having to listen to Blake talking about gossip girl. Im a HUGE fan of GG but I tottally understand Ferrara’s reaction.
Whether or not the question is with and link to the movie they are promoting, it’s absurdly rude to roll eyes and show the whatever expressions when people are talking! What more a show which would be filmed! It’s not just disrespect shown by her to Blake and the host, she’s actually bringing down on herself that she is unable to give respect to people around her, so why is she able to get ours?
I think it would be better if she could just come out and clarify all matters and maybe apologise. Only then can stop all of us discussing her reason for all the expressions and the supporting who dramatic thingum.
