According to an Australian newspaper, Daniel Radcliffe has unfortunately taken up smoking….and not only has he taken it up, but he’s up to twenty (or more!) cigarettes a day. Seems that every time they finish filming a scene on “Half Blood Prince” , Daniel lights up. Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have been trying to tell him how unhealthy smoking is, but so far he’s not listening.

You can tell most of the responses here are from young girls. Who cares if he’s smoking a cigarette. He could certainly be doing far worse. I have to laugh at the naivety of people.

Dan doesn’t have a problem. He smokes because he enjoys it. The only problem is that people think he shouldn’t smoke. Like most men, Dan likes to smoke. So what?
Hey! Dudes! Dan’s only smoking because it makes him feel less hungry, therefore, he gets thinner. (And because he is a movie star, he is very concious about how fat he is, and because he’s a movie star, he constanly thinks he is fat)

Okay Excuse me…. but Harry Potter smoking, yes that does give him the harder badboy image but I know its not healthy and I really dont think he read these or really cares. I am a smoker and I dont care what people say about it or about me. And I dont think Dan does either. Yes he is a hot guy and girls do drool but come on he is a person just like everyone else and besides he has reached the age of consent in england. I think everyone should just calm down! He’s old enough to smoke if he wants to, and he’ll probably try to stop later in life anyway.
He won’t die from smoking in like a split second, so you’ll all get a chance to meet him if you are supposed to or go to a film premier or something..
