American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, has been married and divorced but has never had any children. That time has probably passed for her (although nothing is impossible – look at Marcia Cross!) but she is considering adoption.
“If it’s meant for me to have children naturally, I absolutely will. I love kids, I really do. And kids love me. I’m so open to the idea of adoption. But, again, I would like to be able to share the raising of the children [with a man].”
I hope it all works out for Paula in the end. I think that some of her problems may stem from loneliness. Did anyone see her on that Dr. Phil dating special? It was almost painful to watch!

I think that first she should deal with her problems. Once those are dealt with, why not.
I talked about this myself last week. I’m a little worried that this may not be the best thing for Paula at the moment. What with her consistant habit of making herself appear to be on drugs (regardless of if she is or not) I think she definitely needs some stability in her life at the moment, but is a child the answer?
Gerri and Bill – I could not agree more. I hope Paula can find some balance in her life and then maybe she can consider motherhood. It’s a tough job!
Paula is going to be a great mom, there’s no doubt about that. She does have a lot on her plate. I know she likes to keep herself busy, but when she has a child, she is going to have to definitely slow down quite a bit. That would be so cute to see her a mom. ;O) I’m sure it’s going to happen soon, maybe that’s just what she needs right now.
Abby, I think that once Paula finds her center, she’ll be a good mom too. She seems like a sweet caring person. I hope she finds all the happiness in the world!
the kids up for adoption have have anof probalms paula would give them more. she’s a LOT better with out kids . i feel sorry for her though
