Dominic Zamprogn is the actor playing the much anticipated character on General Hospital, Dante Falconeri Corinthos. The is Sonny and Olivia’s son which the former doesn’t know about and is the biggest secret shared by Olivia and Sony’s former fiancee Kate Howard.
Famous daytime actors were thrown in as choices to play the role, namely Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan, Guiding Light) and David Lago (Raul, Y&R). AS we found out last week, a daytime newcomer got the coveted role. While Dominic Zamprogn is new on daytime, he has appeared on a few primetime shows including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word, and Smallville.
SoapNet conducted an interview with Dominic to help us get to know him.
What does it feel like working on the set of “General Hospital”?
It feels like a train wreck. But in a good way. Only because I feel like sometimes I’m in a scene and I have no idea what line I have to say next because I’m still trying to get used to the 20 pages a day kind of thing. Other than that, it’s a lot of fun. The pace of it is awesome because I have a really short attention span. And I find I never get bored.

For him being Olivia and Sonny’s child, he’s not that hot. Maybe in time he’ll grow on me. But he is definatly not what i exspected.
I hear yah. No impact at all. Maybe if he starts singing in the karaoke.. LOL. I hate this (karaoke) storyline… Argggg
Lol, I hear ya with the karaoke storyline. I wish they weren’t doing this storyline, but I am glad it will be a mini break from the mob, and the who killed the mistress storyline. The mob storyline had dwindled down for awhile when Michael was in a coma. But now since Michael’s awake i guess its okay to go around shooting everyone. Since he’s awake I guess he’s not in danger even though Sonny’s ex wife and two children were held at gunpoint in the woods, but his other son. Oy vey. This storyline is going to get very complicated.
Look I dont know what you ladies are talking about Dominic is the only reason I watch GH now I am so in love man what I would do to get those digits haha no for real I love the way he acts and plays his character he is super sexy and breath taking. I never get tired like I use to of watching this show and story line DOMINIC You Are Tha MAN…MUAH
The character that plays dante falconeri is GENIUS and very talented. I think this story line is great…he’s out to arrest his father! WOAH…maybe he’ll have a change of heart? Who knows…I just want claudia out that good for nothing bitch! And olivia u know keeping secrets in port charles is a no no! SOmeone is bound to find out! ahhh.
i think the one playing dante is hot and looks just like sonny so i will be hard not see him as his son. also i find myself not wanting him to get hurt and to have a long time on the show. he is a really good actor and has brought alot to the show
I love DomZ..i think he is an amazing actor and love the fact that he got be reunited with kimberly M’s since they played in the movie “dying to dance”
