To be completely honest, I’d not paid much attention to what all the fuss was about. That was until Donald Trumps daughter Ivanka and Rosie’s friend Madonna started getting in on this feud. What could possibly raise such a ruckus?
Well, for those of you who are much like me, here’s the scoop:
It started up a few weeks ago when Rosie O’Donnell made fun of Donald Trump on her new morning show The View. Positioning her hair to resemble Trump’s, she mocked him after he announced his decision to give Miss USA, Tara Conner, a second chance after she had been caught, partying excessively in NYC.
After Trump got word of what O’Donnell had done, he went began calling her all sorts of names, claiming she was ugly inside and out.
Thus began the back and forth cycle of harsh very public words between O’Donnell and Trump. And now, Barbara Walters has found herself caught up in the middle. According to Trump, Barbara Walters rang him after the big blow-out and said, “working with [O'Donnell] is like living in hell and, more pointedly, ‘Donald, never get into the mud with pigs’ and, don’t worry, she won’t be here too long.’”
It seems that celebrities from all over are now coming out of the woodwork taking sides. Ivanka stepped out in defense of her father while Madonna, close friend of O’Donnell has stepped up saying “People are giving Rosie a hard time, I wish they’d stop. I don’t think it’s fair.”
Madonna, starred with O’Donnell in 1992’s “A League of Their Own” filmed right here in Indiana too, I might add.
So, there you have it! The Donald versus Rosie! Not exactly the typical ‘relationship’ kind of news we share here on CelebAmour, but I thought since everyone else was talking about it, we might as well too!

Me? I think Rosie started it and if she’s going to be man enough to start it, she should be man enough to take what she’s got coming.
I think what’s done is done!! Let it rest guys!! Tara screwed up, Donald gave her a second chance! So what!!!
If Tara screws up again, she’s out of there!! Donald & Rosie need to GROW UP and get on with their lives!! They sound like 2 children fighting back & forth!! If my kids did that, I’d put them in ‘Time- Out’!!! (one minute for each year of their age!!) I thought that they were more mature then that!!!
Both of them should be made to appoligize to each other!! And Shame on every body else for getting involved in a “Child’s spat”!! And shame on Donald & Rosie for Dragging them into this!!!
They are supposed to be Adults!! Not children!!!!! Oh, and Donald!! I’m also a”FAT PIG”!!!! That comment was totally uncalled for and you should make a public appology!!!
Just think, I used to look up to the both of you for all of the great things you both have done!! I never realized how imature you both are!!! Your children are watching you!! What would you do if your kids did what you two did?? Think about it……….
that’s it, i am done. no more watching the apprentice or american idol.
i am sick and tired of folks taking after one another. i honestly think that that is what’s wrong with the world.
