Don't Miss Patricia Arquette on Rachel Ray Tomorrow

When I was talking about Patricia Arquette’s possible appearance at the May 9th It’za Fulcage Fundraiser, Tom mentioned another exciting event:

Don’t forget to remind everyone you can reach out that Patricia Arquette will be on Rachel Ray next week on Wednesday May 9th. It was prerecorded when she was in last month doing promotion for Medium and David Arquette’s movie Tripper.

I’m hoping they talk a lot about Medium and the cast and not so much about her brother and his movie. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s a nice guy and all, but I think we heard enough about his movie last month.

I don’t think they’ll talk too much about the movie since this was set to air after the movie came out. I saw a clip at RR.com and Patricia was rating her own fashion hits and misses. That should be pretty funny.

I am so TICKED!!!!! I got up early this morning and set my dvr for Rachael Ray and I’m watching the show, and just as Rachael introduces Patricia and she comes out, what happens?
They break in with a live announcement from that d*** Hilary Clinton!! And I completely missed Patricia’s interview!!

I am so mad! Did anyone else see it? Someone tell me you saw it, please? And hopefully recorded it? Anybody?

are you kidding me? Mine is actually taping right now, so hopefully no announcement will be in mine.
What time does RR air where you live? I am East coast, airs at 10 am.

I’m in Maryland and it aired at 9. Hilary Clinton was in Annapolis and the station broke in live. I am furious. I was SO looking forward to that too.

OK, then mine should be fine, unless her speech, etc. went over an hour.
Keep your fingers crossed for me at least, right?
    Sorry guys, what CRAPPY timing!

Luckily, after about a month, you can purchase DVD’s of the episode from rachael ray.com regarding the show for $20.

I’m taping it – I had to leave early today (early for me that is) so I certainly hope it didn’t affect it.

I really hate when they cut in for these special announcements which could just as easily be a crawl at the bottom of the screen or could wait until a regular newscast. They are especially bad about breaking in for local police chases – if I’m home watching TV then it’s not going to affect me and I really don’t need to watch them chase someone through the streets anyway. It should be put out on the radio so if you are in your car you can avoid the area.

What’s even more exasperating is when something happens like a plant explosion, a flood, or some other big event, they stay on the air non-stop even though they have no new information – they keep showing the same limited video over and over and repeating the same information over and over and over – I wish they would just go off the air and only come back when they have something new to say or have some useful information. Each network is so afraid one of the others will one up them, they stay on the air saying nothing over and over.

    Betty,
I know what you mean. I wouldn’t have minded it if it had been something worth hearing. But it was just more of the same political BULLS***. I am SO TICKED. I REALLY hope somebody got it on tape or something and I can get a copy, or maybe they can upload it to youtube or something. I saw the last minute of it and she was so cute.

Darnit, and it looked like it was a really great interview too. It lasted almost twenty minutes, which is unusual for Patricia.
If anybody’s got it taped, I’ll love you forever if you can hook me up with it.

Unfortunately, I’m also out of luck. Rats. Political speeches are not news. And they’re definitely not breaking news! Seriously, unless not hearing the news is going to make me die, it can wait until the regularly scheduled 11 p.m. slot.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I was furious this morning. I could have put my foot through my tv I was so mad. But then I wouldn’t have been able to watch Medium tonight.

I agree that those kinds of thigns are not news and, imo, not worth interrupting programming for. They never say anything that can’t be summed up in a soundbite on the later news edition.

    Yahoo!!! I’m so happy!!

My buddy at p-a.com came through for me. He’s got it recorded and he’s gonna digitize it and upload it for me.

I’m doing the happy dance all over again!!!If anybody wants it, I’ll let you know when I get it and share.
