Even if it lasted for only a few minutes, we were treated to the thought that the Yale-bound Holly J (who might hook up with Declan again once they're in college together) could be having a little biracial baby with Sav. Alas, it was not to be.
Hiding the truth -- it's always the right choice! So when Sav tracks down Johnny, asking if he's seen Alli, the former bad boy has no choice but to say no. (Sav, you really couldn't demand to look into his room?)
What an optimistic 16-year-old Alli is: She thinks that she can get in to university and/or get a full-time nanny job without finishing high school.
Holly J has this "working doggedly through sickness" thing down: She falls asleep in class, underachieves at her work-study, and has a panic attack at the restaurant where she works.
Upon opening the time capsule from seventh grade -- like, so long ago -- Wesley reads the letter he wrote to himself and is bummed that he doesn't have super-hot girlfriends, isn't buff, and hasn't broken any world records. Because all 16-year-olds should be able to do that stuff.

Right when Alli is considering staying another day with Johnny at university -- and might be convinced to return home -- his new girlfriend barges in and asks, "Johnny, did your little problem go away?" Girl knows how to stir things up.
Like Holly J, Wesley is looking to push his body to its physical limits -- by making the most jumps on a pogo stick in 24 hours. Well, it's better than his premature-ejaculation plot last season.
Sore throat, cough, exhaustion? These don't matter, because your boss who's running for mayor needs you to run for charity, even if you collide into the water tables while doing so. Next week we'll get to find out what's got Holly J so sick.
