In Michael Ausiello’s inaugural weekly show “Ausiello TV” over at Entertainment Weekly, he had some interesting news about the behind the scenes happenings of Grey’s Anatomy.
Even though the waters have been relatively still after Katherine Heigl stated in a press release that she was removing her name from Emmy consideration due to the lack of good material thrown her way this past season, it doesn’t look like all things are peachy on the Grey’s Anatomy set.
According to Ausiello’s sources, an unnamed cast member sent Shonda Rhimes a bouquet of flowers to cheer her up and to assure her that some of them do appreciate her. It sounds like the battle lines have been drawn and who knows what that might mean for the future of Izzie and Katherine Heigl. The only cast member that has publically taken a side was Chandra Wilson who defended Katherine Heigl last week. The rest have remained silent on the subject
With luck, all matters will be resolved peacefully, even if everything is settled behind closed doors. Of course, as some people theorize, Katherine Heigl may simply be trying to get out of her contract.

Why do I have this feeling that it was Patrick Dempsey sucking up to Shonda since they have such a “tight” relationship. He says “jump” and Shonda says “how hight”. I’m sorry, but Shonda doesn’t appreciate her cast nor her fans. She takes us and the cast for granted. If she thinks that she did the characters justice this season to what she did to majority of the characters, then she is far more delusional than she thinks. The spoilers do not help her show any. GA is a sinking ship. It’s barely making buzz anymore on quality storylines. If KH is getting out of her contract, then I don’t blame her. However, I don’t think she was according other “insiders/sources”. If you listen to the video those flowers happened last month, and I bet by now there was a meeting with KH on the matter by now.
I don’t know. I think this was blown out of proportion like Chandra stated, and I still think KH was right. I really hope GA isn’t nominated this year in the emmys besides CW or SO. It’s a sinking boat, and nearly everyone has implied or hinted at looking other avenues.
woah! I dont know about everyone. I still think that GA is a great show with a great storyline. So what if a few episodes didn’t have you on edge, personally I still think this show is just as afloat as one of derek’s ferry boats [and I dont mean the one that crashed at the docks]

I don’t think the story lines are weak or that GA is a dying animal! I still love the show and I know there are many out there who agree with me
I think the show is great too! GA is STILL a hit TV Show. All shows have ups and downs and they work it out. Just as GA will. I think season 5 will be great ! Can’t wait!

I love Katherine Heighl, she’s amazing and she is right when she say that this year she don’t have material for a nomination..her storyline was more secundaire than usual..i just think that she could keep that for herself..but nobody’s perfect right?

Can we just move on from the ill thought out comments of KH? Was she right – to an extent yes the writing at times was not great this past season. Could she have done what she did quietly without drawing attention to herself, yes. Is this whole fiasco about media attention- YES. So how about declaring the 15 minutes are up and moving on…..

Grey’s has always been and STILL IS a phenomenal show. From writing to acting it is still, in my opinion, one of the best shows out there. I respect the fact that there are major Izzie fans just like there are major Mer/Der fans(waving hand in air shouting out that’s me!). With that being said, I believe KH is not doing justice to her fellow actors, writers or even to her character. This loose lip girl is very high on herself. She’s a good actress and yes very pretty but look around there are many just like her. What she isn’t is loyal. I have to think that the sources of killing off Izzie could be none other than KH herself. The girl so needs to be in the spotlight all the time. Grow up KH! Because of the awesome talent surrounding Grey’s, I do believe the show can continue to give us a wonderful hour every Thursday night with or without KH “IF” that rumor is true.
yeah…i hope the rumours is true…KH should die…and bring back our head of cardionthoracic surgeon Dr Burke …that easy huh!!!
