Dylan and Cole Sprouse are very happy with their new gig at sea, the spin-off series The Suite Life on Deck. The ratings for the show went through the roof and it seems to be doing very well still.
TSLD is causing the boys’ characters to be a little more responsible than when they were in the hotel.
“I think Disney wanted us to be more responsible on the show,” said Cole, “and they felt that putting us on a boat would be the best way to do that.”
“With growing older comes responsibility, [which] if you don’t acquire sooner or later, you’re gonna be in trouble,” said Dylan. “So the new show definitely teaches responsibility. We get jobs, and essentially every single show has a moral.”
Are movies and TV all that the Sprouse brothers are interested in? How about some albums? Nope, not for these guys. They swear that unlike a lot of their fellow Disney stars, they have no singing aspirations and want to focus solely on their acting. Smart plan.
They are very happy and grateful for their Disney Channel show and do the best they can to stay grounded. Not the grounded like they were on “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” all the time, the staying level headed sort of grounded. 
“Some people do shows because they want to be famous and I’m honestly telling you right now, if that’s the reason, they’re going to get swept up,” said Dylan. “Cole and I just came into acting because we like to act and we like to work.”
They sure sound like they have it together. You can catch The Suite Life on Deck, Fridays at 8 pm. (Be sure and check your local listings for the right time.)

omg they are the best role models ever to walk this planet. It’s nice to hear that Cole and Dylan are just sticking to acting. I mean some stars do attempt to get a record deal when they have no talent which is sad. In addition, I definitely agree with Dylan that people should do something they are passionate about, not to be just famous because doing something you have no passion to is not worth the fame and fortune. haha
It’s so suite how they are focusing on their acting skills and goals! I love them soo much!! i mean come on? who doesn’t?! i also read that they want to get ready for college too: dylan wants to go to art school and cole wants to study film at USC. i also think thats great how they r focused on school too! i’ve only seen few actors or actresses that still want to focuse on school as fun as acting is! and yes, they r SUITE role models. i think that people should follow their example on acheiving their goals. i mean, look at Debby Ryan, she’s come a long way, but she did it for the love of acting! think big, and u’ll acheive it! p.s. i LOVE dylan sprouse!!!
