Edward Hermann Grey's Anatomy “Let the Truth Sing”

Last night, Edward Hermann made his premiere appearance last night on Grey’s Anatomy 4.3 “Let the Truth Sing”. He is said to be there for a long arc as "the world’s oldest intern." So far, he is listed in the spoilers for the next two episodes.

Here are some screencaps of Edward Hermann on Grey’s Anatomy:

Side note: I totally ruined the episode for myself by making the pictures and video (next post)! I still haven’t caught up on the first two episodes since I got back from vacation. Oh well!

Edward looked great in the episode. Very trim and fit, and I loved him with the beard.

His beard is so long! He looks completely different. Emily would be completely furious, Maddie!

Just to add in, look what Ausiello said-

“Know what time it is? It’s time for me to put on my Armchair Casting Director hat, that’s what time it is. As all you Ausiello Scoop newsletter subscribers first learned yesterday, Gossip Girl is introducing Serena’s “wealthy, manipulative and larger-than-life” grandmother — a role that sounds tailor-made for a certain acid-tongued Gilmore Girls matriarch named Kelly Bishop. No worries, I’m on the case. I’ve already contacted both exec producer Josh Schwartz and Bishop’s agent. With any luck, I’ll be able to announce something offical in next week’s Ask Ausiello.”

Ok, I like Gossip Girl. I’ve been watching it and I think it’s good. And I know that it’s called “the Gilmore Girls replacement”, and honestly, I’ve noticed not that many resemblances. But adding in a grandmother exactly like Emily Gilmore is going a little too far for me.

    Oh my God!
    Edward looks so different!
    ..He looks…older!
    …Aw, my Richard!
…Edward will always be our Richard Gilmore, no metter what!
….Yeah, i agree with you…Emily would be furious!…..My God, i miss my Gilmores!
….And about Kelly Bishop…I never watched Gossip Girl so far cause it’s not my kind of show, but i really wish Kelly to get this job, cause that way we could see her more often….because i don’t know you guys but i miss her!…She’s a great actress and deserves the best.
…No metter what… A GILMORE IS ALWAYS A GILMORE….Kelly and Edward will always be remembered as our unforgetable Richard and Emily Gilmore…mother and father of Lorelai Gilmore and grandparents of Rory Gilmore.

em – good point about the Emily thing. That is just going too far.

Really, Gossip Girl is a bit more like The OC – all the characters even look alike! – but CW is hoping to prime it to the Gilmore Girls audience.

I know the show is kicking butt in ratings, but it seems rather unoriginal considering how much is like The OC and like Gilmore Girls.
