As soon as I heard about "strippergate" I knew he was leaving. You don't go from a favorite to the bottom from one bad performance (or David A would be gone) unless there's some other reason. Whether Idol had something to do with it (I think they did) or just the grannies didn't vote for him anymore it wasn't his voice that kicked him off.
