Elle and Dakota Fanning to Star in New Movie

Dakota Fanning will be starring in a new movie with her little sister, Elle! And the lucky girls will get to see Cameron Diaz in a serious role in the movie, “My Sister’s Keeper.” The movie is based on a novel by Jodi Picoult and production will begin in March in Los Angeles.

Elle Fanning will play a young girl who sues for emancipation from her parents. Her parents conceived in the hopes that she would be a genetic match and assist her cancer-ridden sister.

Dakota and Elle are younger than they were in the novel, but a decision was made to cast them because it was more age-appropriate for Diaz.
