Elmer Olsen, the renowned model agent and fashion veteran, will be joining the judging panel of Canada’s Next Top Model for Cycle 3. Elmer will participate in the coast-to-coast casting, which begins Friday in Vancouver!
“Nothing makes me happier than finding that one geeky tall girl transform into Canada’s Next Top Model and having her graduate to walking a runway in Milan,” Elmer Olsen said in a press release.
This year’s winner will receive a year of representation from Elmer’s firm, Elmer Olsen Model Management, in addition to their $100,000 contract from Procter & Gamble and an editorial spread in FASHION magazine.
I’m really excited that such a fashion powerhouse will be joining the judging panel. However, it has yet to be announced if Elmer will be a judge in addition to Cycle 2′s panel of Jeanne Beker, Yasmin Warsame, Paul Alexander and Jay Manuel or if he is replacing one of them. I’d put my money on him replacing Paul. What do you think? He could possibly be replacing Yasmine, but if she left, that means there are no models on the panel.
They’ve added better details for the open casting call. You better wear a skirt, bring your highest heels, don’t wear make-up and have your hair in a ponytail! for full information, go to the website!
