Emily Bergl Becomes Regular in "Southland"

Emily Bergl (Chilton’s elite Francie Jarvis in Gilmore Girls) has joined the cast of NBC’s cop series Southland, which will begin Season 2 on October 23, 2009.

As previously mentioned, Emily plays Tammi Bryant, wife to Detective Sammy Bryant (Shawn Hatosy), one of the main characters in the show. So far, Emily has been in 6 episodes of the series, with her 7th scheduled to be the Season 2 premiere, entitled “Phase Three.”
