I’ll take what I can get spoiler-wise during this holiday Ugly Betty news lull. EOnline’s Kristin Dos Santos has a little more info about episode 3.11, Dress for Success (and beyond):
Bekki in San Diego, Calif.: Any info on the guest stars coming up on Ugly Betty?
Bernadette Peters plays Betty’s superstrict professor at Y.E.T.I. who assigns a project that Betty has to complete otherwise she’s kicked out of the program. Nikki Blonsky also pops up in what seems to be a fast friendship with Betty, but since she works for Elle, Mode’s nemesis, nothing good can come from it.
Christine in Seattle: Will Molly and Daniel get together on Ugly Betty? Christmas comes early for Daniel when Connor and Molly call it quits. Tidings are not glad for Ignacio though—things don’t look good for his heart when the show returns on Jan. 8.
The first bit of news we could kind of gather from the episode photos, but I do find it interesting that Betty is going to get another impossible assignment as a test, ala Wilhelmina’s tiara in Filing For the Enemy.
Also, my guess from the photos was that Betty and Teri were going to start off on the wrong foot, then become friends. Based on what Kristin is saying, the opposite may happen. Teri will pretend to be Betty’s friend, then betray her. Should be very interesting.
As for the second thing, anything that keeps Sarah Lafleur on the show makes me happy :) . I know some of you don’t like the whole Daniel/Molly love angle, but watching Daniel follow her around like a sick puppy has been interesting, not to mention the tension between he and Connor.
Regardless, the breakup with Connor was inevitable, he treated Molly terribly. But, I would love to see Claire slap Daniel again. :)
Hopefully, Ignacio’s heart attack will just be a one-or-two episode plot device. Tony Plana is missed when he gets little to no airtime on the show.

I love Connor & Molly ! I use to mostly only pay attention to Betty’s story lines, but now I’m interested in all of them. I hope they don’t leave the show anytime soon. :) Jan 8 can’t come quick enough.

I don’t remember ever seeing Connor treat Molly terribly. The worst that he’s done so far is stand her up because of work commitments, but considering the importance of his position I don’t think that he’s done anything outrageously disrespectful or hurtful to her.

Sorry, but I’m not a huge fan of what the writers are doing with Molly. Grant Bowler (Connor) is great, though. I wouldn’t mind seeing him stay around longer. Although – I have to say that I like Ted and Wilhelmina better than Connor/Wilhelmina. I’d rather see Connor stay neutral between both Editors-in-Chief and not get involved with Wili. And I don’t like the idea of Daniel and Molly hooking up because that’ll definitely not turn out well for Connor and Daniel’s friendship.

i don’t hate molly- i just find her rather dull as a person. connor’s nice, hope he stays on the show though i still love marc :).
but all this sounds interesting indeed. if this continues throughout then no doubt that by the end, season 3 will indeed be better than season 2, overall.

don’t care for Molly… love Connor! Connor + willie may be interesting…. Daniel + Molly.. not so much… right now, she is the forbidden fruit, so what happens if he does get her. How’s daniel that different than connor? i don’t see the relationship can go anywhere.
