Guy Davis of Blayney interviewed Erica Durance, who plays the young Lois Lane in Smallville.
“With the show and the movie, it’s two completely different outlooks and timelines – the movie’s creation of Lois is so different from mine that she might have gone ‘God, yours is spastic! She can’t keep still!’ while she was so graceful,” laughed Durance.

Yeah, and I often wonder how Lois ended up being the super-confident unemotional Ms. Lane of the big screen. I think Durance makes the character more alive and endearingly-irritating for having a spit-fire tongue!

PS. It seems Australia (Blarney’s URL origin) maybe one season behind, as you’ll notice from the last paragraph of the interview. Still I think this one makes an worthwhile read.
