Eva Marcille Scores Role in Comedy Central Pilot

This news is a few weeks old, but I just found out about it! Eva Marcille, winner of cycle 3 of America’s Next Top Model was cast in the pilot of Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down, a half-hour sitcom slated to air on Comedy Central. If the network picks up the show, it should appear in their Fall line-up.

The show, based on Paul Sapiano’s 2006 indie comedy, will be directed by Michael Shapiro and will also star Meghan Markle, Adam Pally, Max Greenfield and Sara Sanderson. Eva’s character’s name is Jasmine.

The show sounds half-decent. If it gets picked up, I’ll watch the first episode. Good for Eva to score a gig like this!
