Even the pet grief specialist writes about Heroes

I came across this great blog that helps people deal with the loss of a pet. Well, she wrote an insightful post about how our Heroes characters are driven by grief in their quest to save the world…

Grief and guilt motivate Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) -who’s dealing with his father’s death and his wife’s paralysis from a terrible car accident. Grief over a father’s death also motivates Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) and Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Even Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) who is the most light-hearted character of the bunch, is now grieving the death of his waitress-girlfriend (Jayma Mays).

That’s a different take, right? I wouldn’t necesary agree that grief is the only motivating factor, but… read for yourself here and see if she has a point.

    Hi Grace!

So glad to see that you enjoyed my blog about Heroes and how the many characters are motivated by grief and other human emotions. Thanks so much for your comments. In my opinion, that’s one of the most important things we all need to do when we’re grieving…that’s reach out and connect with each other! Take care,
