Well that’s just what Papa Joe Simpson wants us all to think. His two daughters, Jessica and Ashlee have enjoyed some successes as well as failures, but the proud papa says that those who look down on his girls are just jealous.
Joe ranted, “We as a family are under a lot pressure. People want to make us look bad and want us to fail.”
No one wants you to fail, but we do like sitting idly by when failure comes to you. When Ashlee was dumped after only six months of doing “Melrose Place”, he was sure that everyone was out to get them.
He said, “It was never a loss. The world says whatever it says. The world, again, always wants to make it look like we’re failures but we’re really just a family that works hard.”
Works hard, yet still fails, Joe. “Melrose Place” didn’t pan out for Ashlee, just as much as country music didn’t pan out for Jessica. Don’t act so surprised and pull that Mickey Mouse BS when something bad happens.
