[Update: I think the the movie actually premiered last night.]
“The Extra Man” debuts tonight at the Sundance Film Festivalin Park City, Utah and MTV has an exclusive clip from the movie. Paul Dano’s character is quite smitten with Katie Holmes’ character.
The film stars Paul Dano, Katie Holmes, Kevin Kline and John C. Reilly and is about an “aspiring playwright character Louis, who moves to New York to pursue his dreams but ends up supplementing his day job at an environmental journal by escorting Upper East Side society women at night. But it looks like Louis has his eye on a paramour much closer to his age.”
Although the movie isn’t supposed to premiere until tonight, one review from Cinema Blend is in and unfortunately, it’s not a good one.

her delivery is so weird in this clip…. sometimes I wonder why I even follow her life, I dont even think she is that good of an actress……
