This week on Teen Mom 2, we got a whole lot of updates about the lives of MTV’s latest bunch of teenage mothers. And Kailyn Lowry, one of the young mothers featured in the show, was in an especially difficult place. Considering that her mother often doesn’t have a place to live, Kailyn has been living with boyfriend Jon and his family since she got pregnant. But on this week’s show, she and Jon had broken up. And were still living in the same house because Kailyn had no place to go. That caused a lot of friction between them on the episode.
And this week on Facebook, their fight spread to Kailyn’s Facebook wall, where Jon claimed that Kailyn cheated on him.
Facebook has become a popular place for these stars to air grievances. Just today, Jenelle Evans announced her split from her most recent boyfriend. With Kailyn, it all started when Jon showed up to defend himself from commenters on Kailyn’s fan page:
“Imma jerk? Lol. Why? Because i dont let ppl take advantage of me? Because there are rules to abide by when your livin in someone elses house? Because im real and say wats on my mind? Cuz i dont like being lied to and disrespected? Cuz i want to my son to have the best life possible and have both parents in his life? You’ve never met me nor have you even spoke to me before but you can make the judgement that imma jerk. Sounds to me like your the jerk.”
And Kailyn was glad to take him on:
“Jo makes himself look bad… no matter how much editing there is we all do things that we can look back and know… how to make it better. Jo is not in school, he only works.”
Which made Jon take it to the next level, claiming that MTV didn’t capture Kailyn cheating on him:
“I dont buy that especially since i no now she lied to me bour havin another boyfriend for months while she was livin wit me”
What do you think? Was Kailyn cheating on Jon? Even if they were broken up when she started seeing another guy, was that poor form?

i think kailyn is an awesome mother and that just like all relationships her and jo have serious problems but thats what happens when your a teenager having to grow up super fast. i believe that kailyn could have waited till she was officially out of the house to start dating someone else because it is very disrespectfull to date someone else while still living under the roof of your ex boyfriends parents home. janet was always there for kailynn especially during her pregnancy. i think jo is just an open blunt person and doesnt care about the cameras he speaks the real..
Kailyn is amazing. Jo is a jerk and his parents are blind to it. I thought they were trying to help this poor girl too until “the talk.” Who are they to tell her how to live her life? That baby is loved and cared for and that should be their only concern. Their idiot son is absolutley cruel to Kailyn. Good for her not to put up with it and find happiness with someone else. She works her ass off while going to school and raising a baby and she is a kid herself who needs friends and boyfriends and a life!! Jo is always telling her to get out of his house and I think his parents need to remind him who really owns this house! Brother Junior seems awesome though so they got one right!! Run Kailyn and don’t look back!!
This is a tough situation for ALL people involved…Kailyn unfortunately comes from a crummy background, through NO fault of her own ofcourse. Her and Jo have an understandably difficult situation in being teen parents, and Jo’s parents are wonderful people to take her in…to me, it seems Jo still cares about her and has a tough time showing it…not saying verbal insults are right, b/c they are never ok, but the amount of stress on both of them trying to figure out this new life as young parents must be daunting. Personally, I think Jo and Kailyn are both good people who just need to mature a bit and comminicate more. I don’t think K should’ve started dating someone else while still living in J’s parents house…that should’ve been the furtherst thing from her mind, but since she did, these two have to figure out where to go from there. Again, good people caught up in very tough situation.

Jo is a jerk! His family is controlling to beyond beyond! i wouldn’t want to live some guy who didn’t want me to begin with but only cause he got stuck with me! He’s an abuser and if his parents don’t see that then the mother must be abused also. He tells Kail that she “sucks”! Verbal abuse! They do it because she has no where else to go. Now that she is spreading her wings they are loosing control over her and they don’t like it. Sucks to be them!

I give jos parents big time props all thy hv done is helped tht little girl and jo u did ur part n tried to work things out but hy she will realize she f@&ed up whn its to late! but it doesnt look lk u will hv trouble finding someone how old ru again im single;)

I think what Kailyn did was so disrespectful, not because she dated another guy, but because she had Jo drop her and HER DAUGHTER off to see another guy. I don’t think it was right at all. I can’t really remember them on 16 and pregnant, but everything i’ve seen so far makes me side with him. OH and how he found out about her new guy from facebook? She is a mom, and she needs to grow up!

I side with jo… even if he decided to give them a break I think it is pretty disrespectful to go out with someone while living under ur baby’s father’s roof..yea his parents were a littlee mean and no they were not just siding with jo because he is their son. To others if ur living under the same roof ur basically still together
Jo didn’t treat her right once they broke up but I think he acted how most teenagers would act. He didn’t run from the situation like most guys would in their teens he stepped up and so did his family. I don’t think his family treatd her bad they just didn’t want her to put herself out there like that, to think of her baby instead of herself, she barely knew this guy and already had her son around him, will she do this with every guy she dates? That’s not good for her baby. He’s not even 1 and shes already on to her next relationship. She should put her focus on her education and her son. Thats where her priorities should b.
Why should she pay bills when Jo doesnt pay child support?
No she didn’t cheat on him but it was very disrespectful how she went about things, they opened their home to her cause her mom didn’t give a crap..they didn’t have to let her stay there, jos mom always took her side on 16&pregnant…she shouldve found somewhere else to live b4 dating someone else, I mean come on the guy picked her up at the corner so she knew it was wrong..
I don’t blame jos parents for telling her she had to leave if she was going to still see the ugly guy she’s dating, Jo is their son, and what she did was way disrespectful! But she’s young and I don’t think she realises how she went about things the wrong way! And why was she telling him that she loved him if she was seeing someone else? I think she wanted to string them both along…I think her and her new dude make a good couple because their both ugly…Jo could do way better than her…waaaay better!

Jo isn’t just a jerk, he is truly verbally abusive. He’s a spoiled rotten brat who’s angry because he did something dumb, and now he has to deal with reality. I bet his dad is exactly like that with his mom, too. They seemed cool at first, but when all 3 of them ganged up on her after the Facebook thing? Please. Ridiculous. Everybody knows that as long as the mom is even reasonably able to care for that child, she will retain sole custody – they should kiss her ass. It’s really crappy when you see parents that need to grow up just as much as their stupid, spoiled, dickhead kids.

I thought the same thing about Jo’s parents…
but once they sat Kailyn down and threatened her
I knew their intent from the start was not to help “her”
it was to keep their grandson close
because Jo will likely never be “useful” as a father
and so this is their only way to retain a relationship with their grandson.
