Friday on The CW, fans will have the chance to join their favorite names in entertainment with the 10th anniversary edition of the Family Entertainment Awards one-hour special honoring high quality content that the family can enjoy together.
Hosting the show will be Tyler James Williams from Everybody Hates Chris with appearances by several stars including Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively, Mario Lopez, Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Love Hewitt, 90210’s Jennie Garth, Derek and Julianne Hough, Cody Linley, Leona Lewis, Mary Hart, Camryn Manheim, Neal E. Boyd, John Ratzenberger, Kaley Cuoco, Laura Ziskin, Phylicia Rashad, and Debbie Phelps.
Williams will highlight the year’s top moments in family friendly entertainment, including television shows, movies and video games. Among the festivities will be a tribute for the late actor John Ritter.
The 2008 Family Entertainment Awards honorees have been selected by the Association of National Advertisers, and reflect the mission of the ANA Alliance for Family Entertainment, which is to promote and support the development of high quality content the whole family can enjoy together.
The annual awards show honors actors, actresses, producers and content that support the family friendly concept. Dick Clark Productions will produce the show which is presented by the members of the ANA Alliance for Family Entertainment.
The show will air Friday, December 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
