According to The Hollywood Reporter, former American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino will be starring in a new unscripted series on VH1. The show, which is 
currently planned to premiere in early 2010, will chronicle her life as a recording artist and single mother.
They decided to do the show based on the fact that “Fantasia has one of the most fascinating stories in show business” and I can see what they mean. I hope this works out for her and doesn’t end up adding stress to her life but, with the economy the way it is, I can’t imagine turning down an offer to do a television show.
When I watch programs like Jon & Kate Plus Eight and even American Chopper, I always wonder how having cameras following you around affects your real life. Do your relationships become fake? Do you lose the intimacy of those private moments?
What do you think? Would you do a reality TV show and, more importantly, will you watch Fantasia’s new show?

I won’t watch Fantasia’s new show. I think it’s a waste of air time. Having said that, I watch a ton of reality TV, and I totally think everyone “acts” for the camera.

I would definitely watch Fantasia’s show, and I hope she sings in the kitchen LOL!!!! I wish it was starting already
Of course I would watch her show, I love Fantasia. She works so hard putting on a good show, she reminds me of Tina Turner. I would love to see her show and what she does with her days. Of course, not everyone is going to watch her show, but many will and I hope and pray it is a great success, she deserves to make it good, she has had her ups and downs, but I thank God for VH1 giving her this break and I think VH1 has good productions and people who will make this work. I have no doubt she will be a success.
Hey all I think this will be great for Fantasia to have a show on BET it will be a sucess because not only is she a great singer but she is a great actor too.I went to see her perform in Florence SC,and she tore it up I mean that sista can really sing and,like she stated at the concert “It Anit No Lip Singing Here” that was all true she can’t only sing but she can sang.Every Dollar I spent I was proud to spend it because she was great and,when the show does air I will be watching I won’t miss a episode she deserves this and,more she is someone who appreciates her voice by thinking god eveytime she can.I want to see her happy physically,mentally,financial,relationship etc.now this is what you call a Real Country Girl………..

I think it’s a beautiful thing Fantasia having a reality show coming!!! She’s a terrific singer. I always been a fan and supported her, and I will be tuning in to the show. hope to see and hear some singing up there… as well as watching how she’s growing as a singer and mother.
I will watch cause i am so tired of those fake singers it’s time to give
attention and support to the real singers not those Rhi Rhi’ Bey, Solange etc.

fantasia is a real singer and i think she can act give her a change for all the hater that will be hating . A star is born with skills fantasis good lock and God bless you.
