Chris Brown’s biological father, Clinton Brown has spoken out about the alleged assault on Rihanna and about how Chris is holding up. 
He tells People magazine, "He’s reflecting on this situation. He’s very remorseful. He’s very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna's] okay. This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation."
He adds, "Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip."
The father also says that there are "two sides to every story. If you are on his side, you are on his side. Just because someone trips, if you are truly a fan, you are not going to demonize him instantaneously."
I think that last comment that Clinton made is really a complete matter of opinion.
Personally, I had a lot respect for Chris Brown. But the way I see it, there is nothing Rihanna could have said or done that would make being assaulted reasonable. Nothing. That’s not how you resolve a bad situation and obviously it didn’t make the situation better. So to me, what Chris did was just all around stupid, so I sure hope he’s remorseful. That’s just my opinion.

i think rihanna does definatly not deserve it.
She is super talented and a wonderful person. im not saying she`s completly blameless because it takes 2 to argue but chris should never have hurt her. i hope he feels really bad about it now and i hope it destroys his career.

Okay, I was just kidding (sort of), I know that my father will be tempted to beat the hell out of my bf if he ever touched me, I think that he is just trying to be p.c. for the press. I am glad that she is surrounded by family and friends right now, she needs all the support that she can get.
What the F*** ! How can he say that if you’re a fan you’re on Chris Brown’s side and you should understand everyone makes mistakes ?! Seriously, there are different kinds of mistakes and assaulting your girlfriend is an unforgivable one. I’m never paying for any of his music again that’s for sure.
