Arndrea Waters King and Martin Luther King III are celebrating the birth of their first child, Yolanda Renee King. She was born on Sunday May 25 at Atlanta’s Northside Hospital. Yolanda is the first grandchild of the late civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Yolanda was named after her aunt, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s eldest daughter, who passed away last May.
