First Look: Katie Holmes for Miu Miu

81020NR1 Miu Miu has unveiled the highly anticipated Miu Miu ad with Katie Holmes. Katie poses in a dress from the design houses’ Spring range. Unfortunately I can not post the pictures, but you can see a small gallery of photos here.

The ad was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who also did the Armani campaign for Katie’s good friend Victoria Beckham. Vogue UK was told that the ad was for Katie Holmes to depict a "luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality" as inspired by the films of Fellini.

This is Katie’s first ever fashion campaign and I think she looks fabulous! A huge congratulations to her.

What do you think of the photos?

I love Katies photo shoots, this is so totally different to one in NY Times, liked those pics too, she has a beautiful face, I always think with Katie, that maybe she under estimates herself,or because she is so natural , she doesn’t always play up her wonderful attributes , but the photograghers do, the lovely eyes and lips for starters, can’t wait to see the rest, saw bigger versions of this pic, I think she’s gorgeous.

I’m not sure what I think of the photos yet (always takes me a bit to decide) but I do know I’d love to see more! ;)
