First Look: We Can Now Accept Lily Collins as Snow White

I admit, though I’m no champion of the Kristen Stewart school of acting, I felt more comfortable imagining her as the princess in Snow White and the Huntsman because at least I’ve seen her stuff. Lily Collins, playing Snow in Relativity Media’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, apparently showed up for a few episodes of 90210, but I can’t even recall that. So when Relativity Media beat Universal to releasing the first photo of their princess, I was wary.

But wow, right? Lily looks fabulous in that woodland-inspired dress, and not too much like the Disney version. Then again, we’d be glad to see a personality update: Snow is the most naive of the princesses, and we could use a girl who can take care of herself. (If Kristen Stewart goes that route after three years of playing wimpy Bella Swan, then I’d have to sit through two Snow White movies!)
