Jessica Simpson was on The View earlier this week performing her new country single, “Come on Over.”
When I saw that video, I was struck by the difference a few years makes. I think Jessica has improved with age, and also performs much better as well. She and Nick Lachey were on The View singing “Where You Are” way back in 2000. Jessica’s mannerisms are divalicious, and while she sounds good she’s very hard to watch. It almost looks like someone doing a parody of Jessica Simpson.
Thank goodness she’s getting away from that. Still, it’s fun to look back. Check it out:
MK: I agree. I always loved the songs she did with Nick. She’s so pretty that I think she looks much more amazing without that goop on her face.
I like this song. And I think looks so much better–more natural since she doesn’t have her diva make up on. :D
