As author of this blog, I have never experienced a phenomenon quite like Flavor of Love. When commercials for the first season began to air, I never imagined that Flav and his quest to find love would ever find the level of success that it has. Or that it would create some seriously rabid fans. But it has. And so it comes as no surprise that the season 2 premiere would wind up as the highest rated premiere audience for Vh1.
Then again, it’s not every day that someone poos on national televison.
Sunday’s season-two “Flavor” bow, which continued rapper Flavor Flav’s search for a soulmate, drew 3.3 million viewers at 10 p.m.
Ninety-minute episode of “Flavor” bested everything else on cable for the night in total viewers, including a new episode of HBO’s “Entourage” (2.4 million overall).
“Flavor” has become a true breakout show for VH1, which has made Sunday nights a destination for celebrity-centered reality shows like “Hogan Knows Best” and “The Surreal Life.”
First-season finale of “Flavor” drew a massive 6 million viewers to the channel in March, making it the top-rated telecast in VH1 history.

To whom ever this may concern… Its not so much that I am disgusted by this show, it definatly has been “entertaining”. I would however like to say two things, Flav is a tool, and the women in this show are tools as well. VH1, once again I want to thank you for perpetuating garbage television. Way to go. Really…

I love to watch Flav of love!!!I stay up every Sunday night to watch his love show.It’s the bomb!I likes to see whose real and whose fake!It’s how you suppose to find love,really!When I saw Flav giving New York back her clock,I felt the same as New York,tears of joy.At least my tears had watered my eyes!I was felt like it would spark the past romance between New York and Flav,inspite of the fact Hoopz had won Flav the first season,which she did deserve him.Later,I discovered that Hoopz didn’t have time for Flav anymore,inspite of the fact she looked perfect for him in a lot of ways.And so did New York looked perfect for him in some ways,too.I was suprise when Flav accepted New York back in the houuuuuse!Peace!
flav should have sent crazy home she’s another hoopz. & newyork look like she’s on crack this is not the show for her she belong on a scary movie.flav need to just kick boots,crazy & newyork 0ff & be happy.if one of them win flav need his head check.

I think the show is entertaining–BUT NOT REAL… Let’s review FACTS!!
Flav was a hype man for chuck D back in the late 80’s early 90’s. back then artists weren’t getting paid millions. The FLAVOR HOUSE is a prop paid for by VH1. The girls are not really interested at all in him because any REAL woman wouldnt be able to sit up and watch 10 other women drool and slob all over somebody they’re interested in and continue to pursue them. On top of that __ITS FLAVOR FLAV> damn near the ugliest cat in showbusiness–aside from Seal or Shabba Ranks (craig mack is a runner up tho). Lets be real, This is like a ghetto version of Jerry Springer and people love drama. Its not about if its real or not, just another way to show off how stupid our culture really is. Flav has connections to the industry, but who takes him seriously for goodness sakes he looks like an old black woman and I doubt, I strongly doubt that he has that much money still flowing from old P.E. records. And he’s just a big a fool as the rest of em so I say let fools play together. Not one woman on there strikes me as credible or intelligent. You have scheming caniving women who can play the game, but dont know the first thing about commitment and reality. I don’t think I’ve ever been so entertained untill Flavor of Love came out. It’s the bomb,yo! Even though I know that Flav can’t be as serious to make a reality show trying to find love and actually succeed. Hmmm…come on Flav you’d do better visiting the strip joint with the choices they gave you bro. So, its the final two and Flav, you just now realized that Krazy’s here to build up a career reputation. New York is it Flav, I’m telling you she’s here for you and if this crazy woman would pick you over her own flesh and blood, thats real. I’m not sure why my opinion stands about New York, when people talk, I think its because she’s so independent, and has mucho love for Flav, or maybe I’m just tired of seeing her on VH1, I mean this is the second season and the woman everyone wanted gone is back and even if eliminated, I don’t see her going anywhere.

I think that Flav made a good choice when he picked delicious, New York, too dramatic
I think that Delicious is just as fake as the other girls. She’s looking for an opportuniy,to get rich off of t.v. When she came to Detroit she said that her and Flav werent together, now she all over t.v. saying she loves him. Whats really going on?

I believe that Flav should’ve made all the girls take the weaves out and allow them to wear a natural style, just to see if he could handle the real thing. And flav need to have a real woman like me there to keep those crazy broads in check along with there mothers! slam a hoe on there head if they put there hands on MR. ROYALTY! That show is sort of like a train wreck. You really do not want to look, but you just can not stop yourself.
I mean anyone who takes it seriously, well they are truly in need of a reality wake up call. The show is about TV. It is all about ratings, getting paid, and getting your name out there, publicity, etc etc.
Come on Flav ain’t all that I grant ya in the looks department. True he is a funny, fun loving, charming, guy.
I am quite sure though with those attributes and his eing a celeb and having a few bucks though obviously not a lot since well he is doing two seasons of this stuff Plus the season of Surreal life and that other show 2 with the tall blonde whom he “loved” too. While it was entertaining at times well it also was fake as all get out.

I would not gave a dam if it was a flav season 5 i’ll be right their tuneing in to every dam show re-runs and all… I love it !!! And if hoes want to make fools out of themselves who are we to judge flav for pure entertainment. Monique said it all durning the reunion show. So, first we need to respect ourselves before any man can even consider.
