Forbes March, ex-Nash Brennan on One Life To Live and ex-Scott Chandler on All MY Children is going back to daytime. This time around, it’s with another network. Let’s just say, he jumped ship, hehe. Forbes will be sharing his acting chops over at CBS’s As The World’s Turn.
Forbes’s character’s name is Mason, a college professor, and gay. Mason is going to be part of Luke and Noah’s storyline.
Here’s what Forbes March had to say about his new character on ATWT :
“I am interested in characters who will demand I look at the world through someone else’s eyes and fight for their point of view; so a gay character was interesting to me. I am not phobic of really anything and I certainly am not homophobic. From a Christian point of view, God is love and if you don’t love your fellow man, then you don’t love God. I do not find hate or intolerance, self-righteousness or a lack of humility or compassion to be consistent with my understanding of our philosophy. From a secular point of view, gimme a break! To be homophobic should be as embarrassing as any other ignorant and hateful fear and I hope we are close to that time. I am an actor and I tell stories and love is love.” (SOURCE)
Wow. I might check out ATWT once Forbes start in summer. I’m a huge fan of him and this new characters sounds really interesting and I’m very confident that he’ll be able to pull it off. His first appearance as Mason is on July 14th, CBS, As The World Turns.

I do not watch As The World Turns, but now that you are on the show Forbes I record it an fast forward through everything but your scenes It is so good to see you again. I have asked the Rock the Soap cruise to invite you on their cruise and they said they would, please come on the trip, I still haven’t gotten your autograph on the photo shoot we did in New York at the OLTL fan club 2 years ago. They turned out good and fuuny.
I am disappointed that Forbes March would feel so desperate to be back on TV that he would accept a role that is clearly NOT HIM!! He is a terrific actor and should only accept roles which would do him justice instead of catering to the political philosophy of CBS. I am sick and tired of ABC especially cramming down our throats their liberal philosophy!! It is always either gay, lesbian or bi-racial relations on ABC and I guess the other networks are the same. Forbes March, you are a better actor and can do better for yourself than gay roles. Do not taint your image by doing this role.
He is a terrific actor, love him on mutant x and OLTL…I just read that he is being let go from ATWT…ATWT sucks anyways and he was too good of an actor for that show. I hope ABC/OLTL come to their senses and re-hire him.IMO Forbes and Bree’s pairing was the best pairing ever on the show.
