Alright, this is just depressing. Megan Nelson, the seemingly normal teen who appears on Teen Mom 2 as Chelsea Houska‘s best friend and roommate this season, is now pregnant. Until this point, we were having trouble understanding why Megan would want to live in an apartment with her friend’s toddler – other than the free rent – but now it all makes sense. She wants her own TV show.
On this season of Teen Mom, Chelsea and Megan moved into their own apartment, paid for by Chelsea’s dad. The arrangement was theoretically to ensure that Chelsea earned her high school diploma, but now it looks like the only thing these girls care about are stretchmarks and TV time.
Megan recently posted the photo at left on her Facebook page, showing off her growing baby bump. And now a Facebook fan page has mysteriously appeared, toting the possibility of a new television show starring Megan and Chelsea as they live and learn their way through the struggles of teen parenthood.
What are the odds that Chelsea and Megan created the We want Chelsea Houska & Megan Nelson to have there own show fan page themselves? Pretty high. Check out this description:
I personally think Chelsea Houska from 16 & Pregnant/ Teen Mom and her BFF Megan Nelson should have there own show on MTV or VH1, to show them through there good times, rough times, and teen parenting! Since Megan is expecting & Chels has a 1 y/o ♥
With evidence like this, it’s hard to disagree with the argument that MTV’s teen mom shows are glorifying teen pregnancy. Furthermore, it is pretty solid evidence that Chelsea’s dad’s solution to her dilemma was probably not the best one. If your teen daughter gets pregnant, getting her an apartment with her best friend is probably not the right solution. Especially if both girls are going to spend their days coming up with ways to get on TV.

I really liked maegan i cant believe she’s pergo.I thought she was more knowledge than her friend but i gess not. But i gess it dont matter now i think she’s doing it for the wrong reasons because i heared shes only dong it for a t.v show WOW WOW WOW WOW good look to you.

So I am pretty sure Megan is a grown women and can make the best decisions for her self! I myself looked at this so called “fan page” that people (with no life) has made and the real Megan wrote on there that it needed to be deleted. You guys can talk all the shit you want but none of you really know her, you have no idea whats going on in her life. how would you like a bunch of stupid rumors made up and posted all over the internet about you? Get a life and stay out of peoples you really don’t know! I look up to Megan and wish the best to her and her family!
SERIOUSLY?! Do you all personally know her?? NO! Leave her alone…everything happens for a reason. Yes, raising a baby is hard but it’s not as hard as you make it out to be…I should know because I had my son when I was 17. As long as you have support from the father it’s not that hard. I think the girls on teen mom and 16 & pregnant show exactly how it is. No, Megan didn’t get pregnant to get attention she got pregnant because she was in love with the father of the baby…so seriously GROW UP!! Stop talking about someone you don’t even know!!

I think that if megan got pregnant just to try and get her own show it will end up slapping her in the face once the baby is born. Raising a baby is hard work and the ‘Teen Moms’ doesnt show how hard it really is.

`half the girls on teen mom r poor excuses as “teen moms” i was a teen mom n a young mother n these tv shows do not show u the struggle they go threw?! r u kidding me they get paid mad money so how is it sooooo hard ? for real teen moms we have to work our asses off and make sure our child is our number one priority!! i use to love teen mom cus i could relate to them in certain aspects but the tv show gets to their heads and they become ugly people. i think mtv shouldnt pay them as much as they do! like it makes me so mad n sick!
First off, do any of you personally KNOW Megan or Chelsea? If not, then I do not see how it is your place to pass judgment. Yea, she probably shouldn’t have gotten pregnant until she was in a better life situation (married, education, job, etc..), however, 1/3 of all female teens end up pregnant, so there is no reason that people should be ragging just on her.

I just googled her because i was going to steal her hairstyle and this came up lol. All the people saying “mind your own business, its their lives!” …uhm…its on the INTERNET, the ultimate public domain. So anyone can comment and say whatever they want. I really liked Megan on the show (even my boyfriend described her as the only smart one) so this actually kind of disappoints me :[ O well, people do what they do. Good luck.
actually I was filmed in the how and NO you DO NOT sign a contract to HAVE to film the whole season or until the contract is up. you sign release forms to allow them to film while your there. NO contract is givin. Only to Chelsea and Adam

Get your facts straight…..she knew she was pregnant in October and Halloween is at the end so she knew she was pregnant. Megan is someone who thinks of herself before others. She doesn’t care who she hurts along the way…examples other girls when she cheats with their boyfriends, chelsea to get on MTV and stealing from her dads gf, and her unborn baby. I know for a fact she is still partying and smoking cuz once again its all about megan and no one else. not even being pregnant could make her change from her sluty, lieing, abusing others, and bitchy ways.
Who the hell wants to see a show about some skank who went a got pregnant just because she saw how her friend got on TV for getting knocked up?? This sh*t is so retarded… These shows are bad for society, they make girls want to try and get pregnant in hope of being on TV.
