For this week’s Friday Flashback I have an absolutely wonderful Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fan video featuring photos of them throughout their relationship over the past several years.
Honestly, this sort of video always makes me smile. I love seeing them together and the pictures that were used in this particular montage are all beautiful. There are great shots that we’ll all remember from past outings and appearances, such as Brad smiling at Angelina in her blue dress on the red carpet and that super sexy magazine shot of Angelina in a trench coat while Brad stares appreciatively from a motorcycle.

Hi Sherry. Thank you for the beautiful video. All I can say is: The look of Love. They look as much in love now as they were in the very beginning. Neer, I read the Newsweek article and is like all the other bloggers that comment on Zahara’s hair. It is so ridiculous that a magazine with the prestige of Newsweek has to bring itself to a level of a tabloid, is unbelievable. First Zahara is not African-American she is Ethiopian and there for does not have the background of an American black person as her great-grandparents were not slaves. None of us really knows what transpires in the Jolie-Pitt household, so to write an article with any assumptions is nonsense. The article even says that Brad said that they use a product from Carol’s Daughter to manage Zahara’s hair. That should be enough. It seems to me that there are more pressing issues that Newsweek should be addressing rather than Zahara’s. hair.

Neer, I would like to add a question to my previous rambling. Why is there never a discussion about Heidi’s children hair? Johan and Henry don’t they deserve to have their hair combed too? I was just wondering.

Keats, Johan and Henry are black boys and there are not adopted.As the movie Good Hair illustrates many of us Black woman are obssesed with our hair.I personally love Zahara’s hair it appears healthy with soft curls.Interesting she doesn’t criticize Thandie Newton daughter hair or the model Liya’s daughter whose hair is similar to Zahara. She knew by mentioning Angelina she wiuld get a lot of web hits

With the Department of Children and Family Services so busy looking out for abused and neglected children, thank goodness Newsweek can pick up the slack on toddlers’ hairstyles. Such garbage. What a joke.

Kimmy- Yes, your avatar shows up to me as Shi biting Angie’s thumb. Also, when I recently changed my avatar to the new picture of Vivienne, it showed up for me right away. I honestly don’t know what to tell you.
Keats- I couldn’t agree more! I did not read the entire article (no way was I going to read an article insulting a 4-year-old child’s hair!), but I read the first paragraph or so…and noticed that the authot acted as if Angelina is Zahara’s only parent. Newsflash to that blogger: Zahara has a father, too!
As for Heidi’s boys…yoco makes a good point. I wonder if Heidi’s soon-to-be daughter (assuming she takes after her daddy like her brothers do. I realize that, being bi-racial, she may inherit Heidi’s hair instead. :)) will get criticized for her hair if it’s left natural like her brothers’ hair is. I sincerely hope that she won’t!

Yoco, I do not mean to disrespect, but what is difference does it make between a black girls hair and a black boys hair? I was wondering if it is a gender thing and/or should it matter. In other words it is okay for boys and not girls? And if that is the case, why?

Thanks for this lovely video, Sherry! It´s a really wonderful tribute to Brad and Angie´s love story so far. And that love seems to be growing stronger and stronger each day no matter what the rags say. I really think that these two -Brad and Angie -are meant for each other. I´m not meaning to belittle their previous marriages (Angie´s to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton and Brad´s to Jennifer Aniston). What I mean is that they had to wait quite a long time before finding each other. They love each other and those six healthy and adorable children very much. Mad, Pax, Zee, Shi, Knox and Viv are all very dear to them and they love their parents a lot. Hope to see new pics of these two and their adorable kids soon! God bless the Jolie-Pitts 4ever!
