I love this video of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as it follows them throughout the early part of their journey together. It features some great photos of Brad & Angelina and their kids.
The song is “Memories of Us” by Keith Urban and it’s such a great accent to their story.
Also, check out the kids! Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh were so small (Pax, Vivienne, and Knox weren’t even a part of the family yet).
I love Brad and Angelina videos like this, it’s fun to look back – I wonder if they expected to have three more kids by now at that time.

By the way, I’m thinking of regularly featuring a “Friday Flashback” here on PittWatch. On my own personal blog I do a flashback each Friday where I feature a music video of some song that I loved “back in the day”, and it’s been a lot of fun, so I thought it would work well over here too. I know many of us love watching the videos.

Angela, is it possible your browser (or your connection if you’re at work) is blocking video? Sometimes Firefox stops showing me video for no apparent reason and re-starting it works.
I can see the video on this post, anyone else having trouble seeing it?

One of the last frames- the trip to ‘FallingWater’ designed by Frank Lloyd Wright – Angelina’s birthday present to Brad in 2006 – made me think: I wonder what Angie and the family are planning for Brad this Dec. 18th !!!

Sherry, I know you like to keep your blog positive but I do have a serious question. If Angelina and Brad separate in the future will this blog be focused on Pitt only? I am a Pitt fan but I suspect these two will not be together much longer. Please don’t jump on me. I am just asking a question.

Thank you for the vide,Sherry! It was a really beautiful story of their love for each other and their children. In every photo they were looking so lovingly at each other and all those photos of the children! It´s hard to imagine how much they (Mad, Zee and Shi) have grown. Now they´re 7,3 and 2 years old respectively. And besides now they also have Pax and the twins. What a lovely family! May God bless them always!

i can’t say i’m a fan of Keith Urban, but it was very lovely to see all those photos. and to see this amazing and magnificent pair of souls spotlighted in a peaceful and beautiful way, a very spectacular yet quiet b*tchslap to the tabloids. they are obviously two souls who were meant to cross paths; and their two threads have woven a tapestry of great significance. not out of selfishness or publicity or fame or greed; but just by their actions they have made this world a better place. i can’t say that about many people. can you?

Just asking – I think it’s a strange question to ask on this site. If you’re a Brad Pitt fan I don’t know why you’d be so quick to believe that this couple won’t last when it’s obvious that they make each other so happy. It’s almost like condemning him in a way.
However, since you asked, yes, I would continue this site as Brad Pitt news only. There’s a great deal of Angelina news on here because she’s an intertwined part of his life, and it’s handy since there are often gaps for each of them. There will be stretches of time where most of the news is about one and less about the other, then it reverses. But, IF they did split up, I would keep this a Brad site.
And I would hope I could have an opportunity to start a separate Angelina Jolie blog with news about her and her life.
But right now it’s moot because I do believe that they are in this for the long haul. I think the statistics are still around 50% of marriages (or in this case, committed relationships involving children without the papers for marriage) ending in divorce, I could be wrong. And I know that Hollywood relationships experience a whole different tension than an everyday couple, and they are less likely to last. God knows I was shocked when Demi Moore and Bruce Willis split up. So of course it’s not an impossibility.
But I have a lot of faith in these two and I don’t think I need to spend much time worrying about what to do with this blog in the future since I’m not expecting a breakup from Brad and Angelina.

Sherry, very well said and I totally agree with you..Indeed, there’s no need to worry yourself on what to do with this blog in the future. The important thing is the NOW, and our strong faith in the FUTURE of them together.
Actually, the line has been blurred when it comes to this blog since one is the OTHER HALF of the other. One support each other’s endeavor. The success of one, is the success of another and vice versa. Same with their supporters. For instance, I may be more of an Angie fan but I respect & support her choices in life. Brad has shown how much he loves & respects Angie and I like the inspiration they gave us, on the way they handle things, on how they live their lives together with their own family. I like their sense of priorities in life on what is relevant rather than what is trivial & superficial.
Sure, relationships of celebrities are not that stable but I would like to believe that Brad & Angie as a couple is AN EXCEPTION TO THE RULE.
Still, one may say anything can happen. We can never tell in the future. However, I rather think of the positive vibes re their relationship. Pray for them and hope for the best.
They have gone through ups & downs as individuals & as a couple, yet they are stronger & stronger. Their vast experiences in life taught them lessons in life, thus they are now applying it together as a loving couple.
As what Angie once said, “I think we both went on a lot of faith – we really did. Our family has grown very quickly, and we have a lot of responsibility together, and we acknowledge that we are lucky we turned out to be everything we’d hoped. We could have been very wrong, but every challenge we hit has brought us closer together. It has been that kind of relationship.”
