Since I posted that story about George Clooney thinking about adopting Brad Pitt’s children, I was reminiscing about all the funny moments we’ve seen from the two friends and co-stars. I love their little digs at each other and the way that they make fun of each other. It’s great that they don’t take things too seriously when they don’t need to.
PittWatch reader Amy posted a link to a hilarious interview with Brad Pitt and George Clooney back when they were promoting Ocean’s Twelve. It’s worth watching for a good laugh, and I thought it made a nice light-hearted Friday Flashback!
I love their story about faked photos of the two of them on set with a “goat and vaseline” that George explains was not true at all since it was actually a small sheep. They also said that one of the main reasons they did Oceans’s Twelve was because Matt Damon was really gunning for Sexiest Man of the Year and figured he really needed the film to help him.
One of the main things that attracts me to someone is a sense of humor, so a video like this is a clear reason as to why I love Brad Pitt – and George Clooney too! Enjoy!
Thanks Sherry, they are so funny together. Could image spending an evening with these two, it would be a laugh a minute.

Thanks for this hilarious video, Sherry! It´s always nice to see George and Brad joking together. I especially had a good laugh when they tried to speak Italian. I´m certain that George can actually speak some Italian since he spends so much time in Italy. Lucy – I just checked that Ocean´s Twelve was made in 2004. So Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston when this interview was made but I think he already was filming Mr. & Mrs Smith by the time he did promotion for Ocean´s Twelve. He and Angie started dating officially sometime early 2005 although they denied their relationship for a long time.

Mary Agar- I like your post, but please try not use all caps. That is known as “shouting” on the Internet. :)
Kati- I don’t think Angie and Brad actually ever DID deny their relationship. If you go back and look at interviews and such from that time, they simply did not answer questions about their relationship once it had become fairly obvious. Prior to that, I think they did deny it a few times….but I’m think they honestly WEREN’T yet a couple at that time, especally given the fact that both of them (Angie in particular) are known for being very honest, and I have never seem them deny anything else that was actually true.
When a rumor is true but they don’t want to talk about it yet (such as when Angie was in the early stages of her pregnancy with the twins), they just don’t answer questions about it. :)
If they DID deny that they were a couple when in fact they actually were, I’m guessing it was mostly out of respect for JA. :)

One other thing I meant to mention….I wonder if, when Angie and Brad initally denied being a couple, even THEY didn’t know at that point whether or not they were a couple yet (if that even makes sense!)?
