From Jazz to Rock with Norah Jones

Norah Jones has sold close to 40 million albums, won 5 Grammy awards, and she’s just turned 30. Being the daughter of famous sitarist Ravi Shankar, I’m sure she had her share of exposure to music growing up…  So it didn’t surprise me too much when her new album The Fall came out last month. Whether it was the break-up with her longtime boyfriend that did it, or the complete overhaul of her band, she managed to pull off a smooth transition from her trademark jazzy style to a more contemporary rock type feel.
