So it’s been confirmed, the folks over at avrilbandaids.com spoke with Avril Lavigne’s manager, and yes she is spending ‘day and night’ cutting a new record. Well that’s a relief!
In the spirit of a new album coming out, I would like this post to be dedicated to her evolution as a musician. This may not be news to you, but it’s an ode to the pop-punk princessestalent and success. As we happily remember, and pause to have a nostalgic moment over it, her song “Complicated’ on the album Let Go is what kick started her career. Not to mention earned her #1on so many levels. Receiving a diamond certification from the Canadian Recording Industry Association for selling 100,000 copies in Canada, is something to brag about.
Below is a link to the video ‘Complicated’ , which brings me back to a time, when I was so stoked that there was finally a chick on MTV that didn’t look like a Barbie. The beauty about this song and her career thus far, is that her vocals have remained consistent. I wonder what her new album will be like, thoughts!?
