David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy were in New York last night to play the Red Bulls. The game, which was played in the Giants Stadium front of the largest crowd in the MLS this year, ended in a 2-2 draw. Carlos Ruiz and Landon Donovan scored the Galaxy’s goals. For a while, it looked like the game was going to end in a loss for teh Galaxy, but a goal at the end ensure it didn’t.
“It didn’t look like we were going to get the goal but we did in the end,” David told the press after the game. “It shows a lot of character.”
