Dear Mr. Jingles,
Those animals that PETA is killing every year are NOT all “mutilated, crushed, heavily ill, infected, contaminated and contaminating…etc”. If you really believe that then I’ve got a bridge to sell you. PETA is killing perfectly adoptable animals. Do your homework, dear. Check out all the court records in NC where PETA employees were caught acquiring animals because they promised to find them “good homes” and then killied them in the PETA van before the even got to the PETA “shelter” which kills almost every animal that it gets its hands on.
And I will NOT “shut up” as you suggest because, even being house-bound with eldercare and handicapped by a very limited income, I manage to foster and save many, many more animals that PETA does.
Terrific web-site, where did you found the knowledge in this article? I’m pleased I came across it even though, ill be checking back quickly to discover what other blog posts you’ve got.
Great article! It impress me a lot!

Hi Geraldine,
I used to be against shelter euthanasia, but then I became aware of what happens when animal shelters are overcrowded and have to turn other, perhaps more adoptable, dogs/cats away (and you and I know what people will do to rid themselves of their unwanted companions). As for PETA and their work: Check out how some of these back-woods shelters “empty out”–gasing, extracting oxygen, the use of bullets dogs… because it’s cheaper than a needle. Some of these animals end up in garbage piles, not completely dead… it’s awful. So euthanasia in a compassionate way, unfortunately, has to be the answer until irresponsible breeding is outlawed and spaying/neutering your pets is enforced.
hey geraldine clarke,
if you don’t agree that peta euthanizes abused, mutilated, crushed, heavily ill, infected, contaminated and contaminating, bleeding out, irreversibly mentally and psychically disturbed, dangerous because of bad treatment, almost dead animals – it’s surely you going to adopt them – if not, shut up and let PETA do their job which nobody else has the balls to do!
I don’t suppose anyone at the event mentioned that PETA kills almost every animal it gets it’s hands on. PETA’s shelter has killed over 17,000 animals since 1998. Legally required reporting showed that in 2009 alone, they took in 2,366 animals. 31 were transferred and a GRAND TOTAL of 8 were adopted out. (Hell, working alone at home with no donations to support me, I adopted out three times as many animals as PETA did!) The rest of those unfortunate animals were killed, making a 97.3% kill rate. No public shelter in the nation could get away with those statistics but PETA has a genius for manipulating the media. And, of course, media coverage is what PETA is all about, NOT saving animals. Wake up, celebs and donors! PETA is using you.
