“Michael was shot“, those are the words that Carly heard while taking a break from fighting with Claudia. The latter was surprisingly concerned that she helped Carly ordered everyone from Metro Court to get a car ready up front for her she could go to the hospital. “Michael was shot” was all Carly told Jason in the phone call and Jason’s celebration of his “engagement” was over.
At the hospital, everyone waited for Michael to be brought in. Patrick is the head surgeon and she didn’t want Robin working with him because she’s personally attached to the boy. He also asked Elizabeth if she wants out of the process which was weird to me coz I’ve never seen Liz near that boy nor does she really have any connection to him. Sure it’s because of Jason but Liz has never made that clear. But whatever…
Sonny calmly told Carly what happened at the warehouse. How he was having a good time learning all about the coffee business. Then he saw a spark, the bullet ricocheted and the next thing he knows he was holding Michael, someone yelling for 911 and he was yelling “Michael was shot”. Sonny forgot to add that he covered for Kate instead of his son.
Carly was controlled. She wasn’t yelling or anything. Laura Wright did a marvelous job. She wasn’t blaming anybody, not yet anyway. That’s at the end of this post 
. Carly broke down when stupid Liz who tried to hold on to Michael’s clothes finally gave it to her. Carly just hugged the clothes and pretty much sat there in the hallway. With Jason beside her. Calming her down. Telling her that he knows she wants to yell at someone, throw something, but she can’t go do that. Michael needs her to be strong.
Sonny vowed to Kate that he will find whoever did it and well, watch him die. Spinelli showed up and started talking to Jason about camera surveillance. Sonny thought it’s stupid that Jason is trusting a computer geek to find out who shot Michael. Then he started blaming Jason. he should’ve been doing his job. If he did, Michael wouldn’t be fighting for his life.
Jason stood there stupefied. “WTF Dude, what are you blaming me for?” Look. Carly’s claws came out. It wasn’t Jason’s fault. She stared at Sonny as hard as she could and finally told him what she has been thinking from the time she heard that Michael was shot. “He was on your watch. He was with you. It was your job to protect him. This is not Jason’s fault. If there’s anyone to blame here, It’s YOU”.
If I was Kate, I’d shut my mouth today coz I don’t think she wants to hear what Carly would say. I am so looking forward to this week. It’s going to be an intense week for sure.
