I think you’ve figured out by now I’m not really a fan of The Scrubs aka Robin and Patrick. I think they’re both childish and no matter how they act all “mature” especially with a baby on the way, they can’t help but act irritatingly annoying on a daily basis. The writers might think it’s cute but not really. Maybe in the beginning it was a little bit cute but it’s getting really old.
So yesterday, Elizabeth was nice enough to share with them her parenting tips and insights. Frankly, I wasn’t paying attention. After I noticed how Rebecca Herbst looked glowing with her cobalt blue top, jeans and ’80’s full hair, I left the room.
When I went back to the room, Elizabeth was leaving. Then Robin said the most annoying thing of the day. “Even though she was siding with me….” To which Patrick replied, “what are you talking about, she was obviously siding with me“. WTF? Didn’t you two freaking listened to what Elizabeth said? I know I said I left the room but anyone with a right mind would know that Liz was sharing some really great tips on parenthood. Instead of taking it all in and be mature about it, Patrick and Robin, once again managed to find a topic to fight about on who’s right, who’s a better parent and who could be more self-righteous.
The HIV positive Doctor who wants so badly to be a Mother with a guy who made a decision that kids are not in his agenda anytime soon, therefore she’ll be a single Mother or the aforementioned guy who seems to have grown up a bit who unfortunately goes back to his selfish ways when his BabyMamma acts like the Mother Theresa of all Single Mothers.
Frankly, I don’t give a crap. Grow up and stop wasting my 3:00pm viewing time.

Spot on!! Scrubs started out as a mildy cute, inoffensive couple on GH. Which, sure isn’t a glowing recommendation but on GH it’s about as good as it gets. This baby storyline has turned Robin into one of the single most annoying characters on GH and again that is say ALOT. She knew who Patrick was from day one and that never stopped her from wanting him as her babydaddy. Now that he is she is playing games with him and pulling out her usual self righteous annoying shtick. Patrick isn’t much better but at least he is attempting to step up and face his responsibility. Robin lays around ordering food, complaining about gas and berating Patrick. She’s like a pregnant Jabba the Hut.
I’ve never thought that Robin liked Patrick all the much despite the fact that I guess she loves him. She knows exactly who Patrick is and has been trying to change him from day one. Now that he IS changing it’s still not good enough.
As sad as it is to say I find myself more and more often wishing Bossy the Hut would take a spill down a staircase and free me and Patrick from this repetitive, childish hot mess.
To each his own. Personally, I’d rather watch round 999,999, than most of the other crap the show puts together. Besides, it’s hard to move a story forward when the couple in question gets less than 10 minutes of airtime as week, gets stuck in Night Shit hell for 13 weeks, has to prop a useless bint of a nurse who can’t act to save her life, who have stall after stall because the major players(Finola Hughes & Rick Springfield) only come on in the summer.
But, yeah I’d rather watch them than S&C’s limo sex, penthouse pizza virus, Carly numbers 1,2, & 3, & Jason deadbeatdad Morgan taking over the business for the 1,000,000 time. I’d rather watch that than a child shooting a woman & leaving her for dead, a man burning a home to make a statement, or a child being sent into a coma due to a gunshot wound. To each his own
Well I am a fan of Robin and Patrick. While I don’t like how the writers are doing this story at least it is something. Yes, my expectations are less and in order to see Robin and Patrick together on scene, I’ll take what scraps I get.
As for yesterday’s words, you would have to blame Michelle Van Jean the writer not the character which for some reason the writers ignore and only write for their favorites.
As a fan of this couple I as well as other fans have to fight tooth and nail to get airtime onlyto have kisses etc cut short because the writers have to write for the same people Sonny, Jason, Carly, Claudia and the same dialogue. The Head writer even states how HE likes Diane and Max.
I guess they favor them over Robina vet with rich history.
If you liked the couple you would know they play like this but with poor writing it makes them look worse.
I guess I have to watch NS2, hopefully that writer will focus on the characters of Robin and Patrick and not the dumb hijinks.
I will still take ROBIN & PATRICK as Kimberly and Jason T have amazing chemistry.
Other stories on GH are even worse than this. So if you blame Robin and Patrick you better blame other characters, Like LOUD mouth Carly, Lulu the Carly clone, Claudia who is not redemable. I could go on too!
I totally agree with all of you. It’s a very sad thing for me to prefer doing dishes than watching my once favorite soap. The writers are destroying the characters. It’s not just scrubs, who have always annoyed me, but Lulu, Carly, Kate, Maxie, and Spinelli are so intolerable that I can’t stand watching anymore. All the whining, bitching and redundant arguing is not entertaining! It’s making me whine and bitch right now lol
Kacey, LOL. Did you see Thursday and Friday episodes? I wanted to reach into the monitor and shake Robin. I was so exhausted watching them fight again.
Patrick & Robin are one of the only reasons that I can still tolerate GH. Their story line is at least consistent albeit a little corny right now. I’m glad that I didn’t have to suffer through her entire pregnancy not revealing that Patrick is the father. I think how they’re handling it is true to their characters & yes Robin is being a tad bit annoying but true to form. I just hope that they don’t get rid of this fave couple as they did Jason & Sam and Nicholas & Emily. Jason & Elizabeth put me to sleep. I’m dozing just thinking about them & poor Lucky..Just boring period. How could this be the son of the great Luke Spencer? Please bring back the O.G. Jonathan Jackson? He was a great actor who could stand toe to toe w/Luke & anyone else.
robin is so immature and very annoying.. She needs to grow up and be act like mature ,, she is preg!! come onnn get a life,,, i cant stand to watch her complainin over little thing… Pat is trying so hard… Give him a break!!! BORING STORY!!!
I love Robin and Patrick they are soo good for each other. Robin is being really annoying right now about the baby thing, but come on all the other stuff going on in the show are about the mob and Lulu and Maxie constantly fighting. I say that I would way rather watch Robin and Patrick then all of that crap.
I’m a Scrubbie but I often feel the redundancy is annoying.
What I’d like the writers to focus on is how this pregnancy/relationship affects her career? Or how about addressing the concerns about her HIV+ status. Baby Daddy seems to bring so much more stress than anything else, too bad considering she’ll need him (at least I hope for storyline sake) upon the baby’s arrival.
I am glad, however, that they are addressing both Robin and Patrick’s parent relationships. The cycle of dysfunction will hopefully stop. All were definitely far from traditional but it doesn’t make it all bad – just different.
It’s so weird to see my favorite couple being bashed. I love Patrick and Robin to bits and pieces and I rush home every day to see what I can of their air time. Robin’s character might have some flaws, but Kimberly McCullough i definately NOT annoying. Now LuLu crying like a toddler is actually ANNOYING. But yeah Robins dialogue isn’t explainig enough about how she feels and it’s her more just sying no for the fun of it. Strange, but I’ll watch just to see them together.
