Who was laughing too hard during the jury selection in court yesterday? It just amazes me how General Hospital writers mock the US Judicial System ALL the freaking time. Edward Quartermaine has practically declared to the entire world how much he is biased against Johnny Zacchara hence he shouldn’t be a jury but Ric and the Judge accepted him. Seriously? I mean it works in Scotty Baldwin’s case but still, that’s now how it works.
Epiphany’s speech on Edward Q whining about serving his country is a moot point. She may be right in a sense but you can’t have a juror who would just as easily hang the accused before the trial has even started in his own backyard and be proud of it.
And what’s the point with this whole trial anyway? Except for a few residents, everyone in Port Charles are criminals. None of them ever pays for it. They all act guilty and oh so sorry but when it comes to really taking responsibility, they’re all a bunch of cowards who think the world owes them everything. At least Erica Kane in Pine Valley took responsibility and served her sentence in prison. None of that will happen in Port Charles. Albeit most cases are justifiable, there comes a point in a storyline when a character will go into trial, be found guilty for killing a person, and oh I don’t know, maybe take responsibility for his/her actions.
The sad thing is, GH didn’t intend for the viewers to laugh while this criminal procedure-trial however you want to call it progress. They actually meant for it to be as “truthful” and serious. Umm Yeah Ok, when pigs fly maybe.
GH does a great job 2 things. Writing about Mob violence and mocking the judicial system.

I laughed at Edawrd, it’s nice to see him in some scenes again. I laugged relly hard today at Nadine boy did she make Scott look dumb. You could tell that Anthony, Johnny, Ric, and Ephiphany were amused.
yeah it seems they are trying to mix it up a bit..but this is a court case so..its good to see he’s on trial quickerthanthis maybe it will hurry up and be over. I know he’s getting off so? No need for it to be a long drawn out affair…
Nadine goofiness wounded her up in jail….maybe a plot point to get Nikolas to get her out …oh well. It was good to C some Qs…
what about the old lady that was a spy for Anthony. She was killed on General Hospital Night Shift by Nadine’s sister. She’s still working on the same clown needlepoint also.
