Liz breaks through a window to save Jake from their burning house—but he’s not breathing. She rushes him to the ER, and runs right into the bomber who’s holding the hospital hostage! Jason hears about Jake and the fire, and he rushes to GH, too.
*Where is Liz’s bodyguards? Shouldn’t Jason have assigned some at her house? Interesting thought that I will address more some other time….
When Jason arrives, he notices that Joe’s hand has been on the detonator—and if he takes it off for any reason, the bomb will go off. Just then, an unsuspecting Lucky sneaks in and lines up the shot that will take Joe out!
*Finally, Lucky gets to be a hero. I think it’s about time.
Elsewhere, Sonny promises to give Kate a night she’ll never forget… and proposes marriage!
*Alrighty then. Let’s hope this will be Sonny’s last marriage but never say never…LOL

I really hope that Jake does not end up to be Lucky’s. Jason deserves to have a child and I love him and Liz together. Jason and Sam never had chemistry the way Liz and Jason do. I hope the writers find some way to get Liz and Jason together. I hope Lucky finds out what a true tramp Sam is. I do not want Sam to have Lucky’s baby. As for Carly I love her to death but she needs to mind her own business and let Jason do what he feels is right for his son. Please do not put Jason and Carly together ever!!!

I agree with most of the people here – I HATE LIZ! I can’t wait until she loses everything! I’m so glad Carly had the chance to say everything Sam had the chance to say. Yes, Sam slept w/ Rick, but that doesn’t make her a whore. She was going through a very tough time … and don’t you think that was the biggest mistake of her life? I’m sure she does…. but she came clean w/ Jason about her terrible mistake (which was done out of self hatered …) … and although Jason told Sam about Liz, he kept the baby secret right up until Sam heard it herself at the hospital when Jake was born. Jason has made his own fair share of mistakes…. but regardless of Sam and Jason’s mistakes, I think they do love eachother – REAL LOVE – not some misinterputed idea of love (just b/c Liz had Jason’s baby). I saw the hurt and unresolved feelings with Jason and Sam the other day on the docks, but today on GH – when Joe had Sam and Sam said “Joe you’re out of luck. Jason wouldn’t care if I died here on the spot”….. Ouch, Jason! For the first time in a long time, he looked like he cared about what she said. I think Jason still loves Sam (and Sam, Jason),… if they could just get passed all the Liz damage! Liz doesn’t even know what love is. She’s “IN LOVE” with the idea of Jason, but could NEVER fit into his life… and if he tries to change himself for her, he is only fooling himself! Like Sam said, “She (Liz) can never accept you for the man you are”. SHE IS SO RIGHT!

Carol and Kelly wrote the same thing…? And you’re both wrong about Liz. The only thing you have said that made even a little sense was Liz not being able to accept Jason’s life. Elizabeth does love Jason and vice versa and they will be together. It has taken the writers since 1999 to get their shit together with these two so they better be together and amazing like it should have always been. Sam should die in the crossfire…she is one of the worst among many characters on the show that just needs to go. She can take lucky with her so they can both leave Jason and Elizabeth alone.

I agree with Kelly. But let’s look at the whole picture. When Sam lived with Jason, he hated her not feelings for her but as time passed they GREW to like each other and later love. It was not sexual but love of their true character. They woul lay their lives on the line for each other, they were FRIENDS. friends before they became lovers. Liz on the other hand knew Jason for yrs. If she was his friend she would not have had sex with him. What did she really go there for? If she loved him secretly she didn’t show it. Jason wanted to tell Sam about the whole thing, but ‘NO’ not sweet hypocrite LIZ said NO! She’s cold and thinks that she is better than Sam. A baby does not mean that anyone should marry or stay together. Was this Liz’s chance to get Jason after yrs. of wanting him to go to bed with her. Secretly did she want the bad boy? Did she play it safe by marrying Lucky? Liz never viewed Lucky as a man. How soon she wanted to dump him when he was addicted to drugs due to his low self esteem. She turn so quicky against him. She was so quick to turn away from him. Crazy Maxie’s thing with Lucky showed more compassion than Liz showed. Liz could not see the pain Lucky was experiencing. She was all about herself.I see her as a slut in a good girl’s attire. She is a distraction and weight to Jason. What is a better way of trapping Jason? By telling him that she want her baby “SAFE.” this statement is something that Jason can relate to due to his knowing the life of Sonny and his childern. If you keep them together then Jason will have to become a clean guy. Can Jason live that kind of life? Not unless he lose his mind and become the Jason who lost his first identiy. Sam cannot be nothing to Lucky but one who can help him solve crimes. Keep the two weak people
These writers must make sense and stop the B.S. the fans are not fools. We can’t swallow everything they throw at us. As for Sam, when she overheard the conversation between Jason and Liz in the hospital, she should have told Jason that she knew and then wait for his explantion. What a BIG lie Liz gave for not telling Lucky the truth. Every body on the Soaps are liars, deceivers and immature. They play with money and their the live of others. I get tired of dreaming of these actors telling them the truth about what they are being deceived of and by. This tells me:’I've got to stop looking at the Soaps.’ There is no people that have common sense on these programs. They are children gone wild and no ability to use their God given abilities. Jason also said he would marry Liz if that was what she wanted (for the sake of the baby) He did not say:’ Good because I always loved you and wanted you to be mine’)
Liz put pressure on Jason and he broke in. She is in control. Her character is repulsive and deadly. Let Jake die. What is his purpose? Or is he going to end up being Lucky’s baby? If not,write him out of the script!!!!!
wow barbara that is quite the ramble. Even if those points were valid it has nothign to do with the show. Elizabeth and Jason have been FRIENDS since 1998 and they became close friends in 1999. I wouldn’t say that they are strangers. Lucky is a loser and his and Sam can both get shot and killed off the show. Sam might have been able to deal wiht Jason’s life, but look at what she did when she found out Elizabeth was pregnant, which she had no room to speak after sleeping with Ric. You have to look deeper into the shows history and then you can try to form a good opinion, or at least a better one.

Kay, You said that Liz and Jason were friends since 1998 and became close firends in 1999.(1yr.) I never implied they were strangers. Friends are friends. Why doesn’t my points have NOTHING to do with the show? Are you one of the writers? You cannot put Lucky and Sam in the same box! Any real woman would not be comfotrable having a weakling like Lucky for a hysband. He’s slow and can’t think logically. why do you think even he and his dad (Luke) can’t really tolerate him? Sam is logical, she thinks,& is able to analyze a situation in the line of work that Jason is in. It doesn’t take yrs. to be a FRIEND!!! She didn’t ’sleep’ with Rick; she had sex with Rick on the livingroom floor and she was angry,intoxicated angry, and in a new state of being part of a family. I don not excuse her for this, but can understand her state of mind. Some people are do not know how to handle their hurts and their pains. She has a history of being in a “Dog EAT Dog world.” The ‘OLD SAM came out and Rick has the same mindset. Sam TOLD Jason what happened. She expressed her sorrow for that crazy act. But Liz? No she lied. If Liz was a friend to Jason she would accepted his desire to tell Sam. No, She was thinking only of her squeeky clean record. Yet she didn’t have a clean record, she became Pregnant with Zander’s baby. Why? because she had a bad experience with Rick. Sam has a crimminal record she even had to kill a man who was an animal. Why would she have room to speak after having sex with Rick when the gap had been closed? She told Jason and he was not her husband! Lucky was Liz’s HUSBAND she owed him more than Sam owed Jason. It appears that YOU have to look deeper and deeper into the History and try to form a good and sensibale opinion or atleast a better one. What are you looking at anyway? Physical appearance or the real thing. Look at character and see the real thing. Know character, You are in a white picket fence mindset. Look at the real world and learn to forgive people for their errors in life; that’s the REAL LIFE story. I love the story of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Beauty and the Beast;do you? When Disney came out with a Cinderella 3 they added Problems for the loving couple but they got back together after all the deception.

Tana, I thought I was cruel and cold in referance to my statement about Jake. I do not feel this way about a real child. Jake is only a character in the script. I hate the idea that Lulu killed (aborted ) her baby. That act was deliberate, but if Jake had died in the fire that was in the hands of God and no one would be responsible. Liz does not have the mind of a mother. Why would she leave a large box of matches on the floor or leave them where her little boy can get to them? This adult, chasing a little boy out of the house instead of her word having control. And the door just happen to lock when all other doors are open where people just walk in. Tana, I love children and would kill anyone that would attempt to hard them so don’t feel too upset with my comment; it’s only a story made up in the minds of the writers. Some of the things that they write are pretty terrible to me and more terrible than what I said.
Barbara, you were saying how Jason and Elizabeth weren’t really friends and I was stating the fact that they are and have been for 10 years. Also, Sam had sex with ric and Jason has sex with Elizabeth, but Sam and Jason weren’t together at the time he had pushed her away so she really has no room to say anything. Plus the fact that she is a total wh*re isn’t really helping her case. The only reason why she got with Lucky in teh first place was to get back at Jason and Elizabeth for being happy together and not telling her about Jake, which was none of her business anyway. Lucky was sleeping with Maxie so he shouldn’t have acted like he was on the higher moral ground. And that wasn’t just one night he was sleeping with Maxie for months. I know more history about the show than you do obviously because you seem to have magic eyes that like to only see the images that fit into your perfect little picture. And no I hate cinderella, snow white, and all the other crappy movies like them. What does that have to do with anything though? And the whole real life comment…this isn’t real life it is a soap opera so the way Jason and Elizabeths relationship panned out can happen on the soaps.

My dear, you constantly speak of “Hstory.” The “History” says nothing about Lulu’s pregnancy not being a child. She was pregnant with a growing child of which she comceived by a man not a reptile, not a dog or some alien creature; she was with child! Jason and Elizabeth had been drinking that night actually so there goes your theory. And Barbara go talk to a doctor because up until the 24th week if the fetus dies or is aborted it is legal because in the eyes of the law it isn’t considered a baby. I’m sure if you look it up you might be able to confirm it…with your hunger for knowledge though i won’t hold my breath on that one.

If he was drinking he was drinking alone, and then comes Liz! Jason was trying to let what Sam had done soak in, he was wrestling with his own issues. And then along came Liz! Liz who could not stay at home and try to figure out her own life with Lucky. Ahh, pitiful Liz!!! She was not thinking about being with her child who could have been some comfort to her just by loving him, no! she just pushed him off on her mother. Another sucker who believed in Dr. Spock’s teachings. When people are depressed they do many things they later regret. Have you ever hear the expression “On The Rebound”? Have you ever attended a party where people were drinking and saw that they kiss people who they would not kiss when sober? Should they continue the kissing game after they have NOT had a drink? The point is, they were’nt as intoxicated as Sam and Ric were. Not an excuse whatsoever but it doesn’t change the fact the Liz lied and would still continue to lie if Sam didn’t open her mouth. I don’t believe that sam and Ric were drinking, i could be wrong, but i don’t think so. Jason should claim his son, but not at the expense of his life which is what everyone involved is worried about(except carly and Sonny obviously). They will end up together it is just a matter of time.
Yes. Sam was drinking when Ric came in after he had over heard Alexis tell the Mayor that she had cancer and not have told him. He felt that he was her husband and why she could not tell him first. He found Sam at the house where she stayed with he and Alexis. The he started drinking too. They both were in a hurt state. But Ric made the first advance. I was screaming! No, Sam don’t!! Sam’s language was slurred and just gave in to Ric.
Dexie once again, I agree that Sam should have told it. You cannot love someone and not tell them the truth. I too want Jason to claim his child hasn’t he suffered enough? He’s been a father to Carly’s son and Michael as well. Jason has got to come out of the stupor he’s in and see that Liz is dangerous and can’t be trusted. I recently read that the first Carly is coming back and the present Carly will play the sister to Johnny. So sonny and Carly will end back up together. ‘What a mess!!!’ During this relationship with Liz, Jason has really been looking stupid

What’s up with Monica? A Drunk? She is a professional doctor and too old to start this kind of crap. Is there anyone on the show who can be of a sound mind and help the other? As for Lulu, do you remember that her reason for not wanting her baby was that she stated the she didn’t not want her baby because since she wasn’t wanted by her dad (Luke) this would happen to her child as well. She based her decision on her life of not being wanted. She also did not want the Quateramians to have control of her and her baby’s life. So her choice was to not have the baby. She also expressed that since the relationship with Dillion was a misstake and the baby would not be truly loved. Lulu, another mental case.
I don’t really care about the sam and Ric thing because they aren’t the important characters. Jason and Elizabeth deserve to have the family they ahev always wanted I think Jason should just claim his son and they can all just be a family. Sarah Joy Brown(the old carly) is coming back as Claudia Zacharra and her and Sonny are going to have a little fling. I find the way they get together to be very interesting because they sleep together and don’t ask each other for their names…that is exactly how Carly and Jason started out back in 1996. And ya Monica is a lush now. She can’t get off the hooch so to speak. I don’t think that Lulu is a mental case and I don’t think it was because she thought she wouldn’t love her baby i think it was the fact that she wasn’t ready to be a mother.
about the pregnant comment earlier that i didn’t see until now. There is a reason why people wait 3 months before telling people they are pregnant, it is because they don’t know if they will have a miscarriage or any other complications. That fact alone says it all. But w/e that subject is over and done with.

Kay, my dear, I stand corrected regarding the role that the old Carly. Thank you! I put a feather in your cap on that one. As to your judgment of my wit, which “wit” are you referring to? There is more than one meaning for that word. If you are referring the the second meaning and expression of the word then I agee because I do not see myself an a comedian. I do see that you lack (wit)understanding to a certain degree and very little discernment (wit). As to the 3 month thing, I never mentioned anything about reasons for people waiting 3 months before telling people they are pregnant. Even if they do miscarry they were still pregnant but lost the baby. Now that subject is over. I can see that you have issues of having to be the one who is right on all subjects. Everyone has their ideas and thoughts about various subjects of which we all do not agree. But it does not mean that either is wrong unless it defy reasoning. All the characters in the story are important because they all have an effect on the other characters in the story. Anyone who WANT children and feel capable of caring for them should have them. But who is to say that Jason and Eliabeth “deserve” to have a family. It would be better if they were married. These children were’nt planned or conceived out of love!! The thing that they have is confusion and NOT a family. They are sneeking around and afraid to let others know and a whole lot of other reasons or excuses for not becoming a FAMILY. It was something that was the result of having sex due to both their anxieties. No one expected for this to happen. If it had been intended, everyone would have been overjoyed just as Lucky was when he THOUGHT he was going to be a father. But Liz knew this pregnancy was out of bounds. Yes Jason used a condom (which broke, like the Lulu case, the condom was defective). They did not intend for this to occur. Jason felt it was his responsibility to take care of his child and Liz as well. Jason wanted to marry Sam & have a child with her but the writers made it so that she had various complications that would hinder her from being a mother. I have never seem the passion from Liz that you saw Sam had for wanting a child. The writers of these stories are really jumping from one thing to another which allows the viewers like you and I who have different opinions about the way people should live their lives and we are just expressing our opinions as to the way we see each situation. As for Sonny, the writers are making him hungry for sexual pleasure rather than taking care of the business. ‘Look out Sonny, you’re not taking care of the real business!’ When I made reference to Lulu being a mental case I was not saying she was insane but rather she was caught in the mind set of her not being wanted by her father and did not feel loved. Some people can get over things like this and again others can’t and Lulu is the latter. She is still trying to learn what love is. She’s going from one man to another even now. She has to know why her feelings are toward one or the other. Getting caught up in the same triangle that all the other characters are in. Who on the show is capable of advising anyone. Even the medical staff are screwed up!! It’s ALL ABOUT who I can go to bed with for whatever reason! So let’s just have fun and suffer the consequences.
It isn’t that I need to be right all the time it is that I like people to understand the facts of the situation. You may be right, but so am I about the 3 month thing. I am also well aware you didn’t bring that up, but i did because it served a purpose. Also, I am a very sarcastic person so why don’t you try jumping into the fun.
