(George Clooney with his parents Nick Clooney and Nina Clooney.)
George Clooney attended a Newseum event in Washington, D.C with his father Nick Clooney and veteran journalist Bill Small.
Clooney said, "I always wanted to be adopted, but I couldn’t find anyone.”
He then turned to Small and said, "Will you adopt me?" I’m very wealthy. I’ll take care of you."
The whole adoption talk started after Nick Clooney noticed that his son’s film “Good Night, and Good Luck” is not being shown in journalism schools across the country.
The two continued to joke throughout the evening. At one point George Clooney commented that his dad needed a walker.
"You aren’t my walker," Nick Clooney shot back. "But you are my retirement plan."
George’s response was “I was. I was.”
These two seem like they have a great time together. So, would you adopt George Clooney? I’d consider it, but I’ll need to run it by my husband first.
