George Clooney hosted a charity event last night, December 4th, in Mayfair, London at a private residence. Many A-list celebrities showed up and from the sounds of it, they opened their pocket books as well.
The charity party raised almost $15 million for the victims of Darfur. Clooney organized the event with the hopes of raising funds for the two million people displaced by the ongoing war in the Darfur.
Kid Rock provided entertainment at the event and Clooney spoke to the guests about the horrors that are happening in Darfur. That is excellent that they raised almost $15 million for such a worthy cause. I can not even begin to fathom what those people are facing on a daily basis.
The picture above is of Clooney on December 1st arriving at Whisky Mint nightclub in London. He’s looking a little older in that hat and mustache isn’t he? Older, but still as good looking as ever!
Clooney is currently filming "Men Who Stare At Goats" and that’s supposedly what the mustache is for. Both him and his pal Brad Pitt are sporting the ’staches!
