Now that the patients are about to graduate from Sex Rehab, it’s time for Celebrity Rehab to be back in session. The third season of the show will premiere on VH1 on January 7, so be sure to set your DVR!
A while back, I let you know who the patients were going to be in rehab this season, but I have to admit that I had no idea how different the list would look by the time the season was about to air. To refresh your memory, here’s the list of patients for season 3:

- Heidi Fleiss
- Dennis Rodman
- Mindy McCready (country music singer)
- Lisa D’Amato (America’s Next Top Model)
- Mike Starr (Alice in Chains)
- Kari Ann Peniche (ex-Miss United States Teen)
- Joey Kovar (Real World Hollywood)
- Tom Sizemore (Shooting Sizemore)
We all saw Tom Sizemore try his best to detox on his reality documentary, Shooting Sizemore. Sadly, we also know he was not successful in staying sober. I hope Dr. Drew can help him.
Dennis Rodman was seen acting out and drinking far too much when he was one of the candidates on a season of Celebrity Apprentice. I would like to see him be helped too. He seems like a very cool guy.
But since the cast of this series was announced, we have found out the terrible and controversial family secrets that Mackenzie Phillips reveled in her autobiography. It’s clear what some of the causes might be for her addictions.
And when I gave you the list before, I had no idea who Kari Ann Peniche was. Since then,. we’ve seen her completely act out and spoil her chance of recovery from sex addiction on Sex Rehab. I can only hope that she gets to the group sessions and follows the rules better this time so she can actually get some benefit.
We also know that the Mayflower Madam, Heidi Fleiss has been involved romantically with Tom Sizemore off and on for years, so that should add an extra dimension of difficulty to the situation.
All in all, we definitely don’t want to miss the premiere of Celebrity Rehab 3!
