- Why does Rory caution Lorelai not to get hurt?
- Is Luke a more confident dad? Did being away from Lorelai help that?
- Why does Sookie caution Lorelai? Is Lorelai treating Chris like a rebound?
- Why does Lorelai blow of Sookie for Christopher?
- Are you surprised Richard asks Rory if it’s ok for him to lecture at Yale?
- Do you think the Target trip was a little too heavy on product placement?
- Why didn’t Lorelai ever decorate Luke’s?

- Do you think the writers felt it was time for new characters on the show, new friends for Rory? Was this a good move or a bad move?
- What do you think of Olivia and Lucy? As friends, do they represent more independent strong women characters? Perhaps something that Rory lost?
- Why would Olivia & Lucy be obsessed with Paris?
Is there any significance to the movie Funny Face and the ‘S Wonderful S’ Marvelous song? - Do you think Lorelai will stay true to herself and go slowly with the relationship?
- April suggests that Luke start dating, maybe her teacher, but why would that be any different (to Anna) than dating Lorelai?
- Did Lorelai want to hide dating Chris from Emily?
- What does Lorelai mean about Chris understanding her?
- Why does Lorelai invite Chris in, only hours after wanting to take it slow?

Thank you so much Jill. I just watched the video on youtube. I can’t understand a word that band says except the chorus. It is so going on my ipod!!!!! Thanks again!!!
For Patty the song is called “Inside Out” by The Mighty Lemon Drops
I thought that the Emily scene with the police was the second funniest thing ever on Gilmore Girls!! Luke pushing Jess into a lake is the funniest. I didnt like that Lorelai decided to date Chris!! and so much for going slowly Lorelai! This season is very different as to how the characters act in their decisions. If ASP were writing, Lorelai wouldn’t date Chris! or do any of the things she will do with him! I’m really trying not to ruin it for others if they havent seen it! But the writers have completely changed the characters. Rory wouldn’t have normally taken that job that she gets at the end of the show. She loves her mum and we all remember whence she first moved into Yale! She asked Lorelai to come back. This whole series is out of character and i just noticed this went off topic.
I think skipping 6 weeks was a bad idea because 6 weeks is a lot of time and it leaves us wondering just how things went to get them where they are now. I definitely think Lor used Chris as a rebound.
I have an urgent question:
In the series finale, what is the name of the song that is playing when Luke and Lorelai kiss? Who is it by? I love that song!
Lor taking pictures of the cops at the police station is great. I love when she says “Oh this night keeps getting better and better” when Emily gets arrested.
Yes i do think that skipping six weeks was stupid and yes I feel like we missed so much that happened when they skipped ahead. I don’t understand why they did that but I wonder why lor and chris started dating so fast and what was she thinking? i remember thinking “oks he’s gonna go ahead and date chris after cheating on luke with him how painful that must have been for Luke…”
